I hated the way my preacher would always "interpret" the Bible--telling everyone that they had to do everything he believed was "moral", and we'd all go to Hell if we didn't.

In fact, other country's have plenty of things that we don't--such as great health care, free college, etc. Americans complain about taxes, but we pay the least of ANY country. Most countries pay 50%(+) in taxes.

@wolfrun1234 Well u answered your own statement about the war thing. Next, nothing is "free" the money comes from the people,personally I dont mind paying taxes for the things we need like roads,schools etc. but I dont think the government has any business collecting 50% of anyones income. If we pay the least, I say good for us! Those other countries sound great,and if you want a country that thinks it knows better than you how to spend your cash feel free to move,I'll take the U.S, (pre-Obama)!

@wolfrun1234 The economy, although not great, was better,no threat of tax increases, jobs were more plentiful, the government wasnt so intrusive and wasnt in the healthcare business and forcing people to buy a product under threat of fines (Obamacare). We welcomed people to prosper,now we look to penalize them. Anyhow, thank you for the conversation, although we may disagree,I wish you well.

@chillndaville How can you consider this a conversation? All you did was scream that Obama sucks. The economy was to shit even before Obama was elected. People all over the country were loosing jobs. If you don't believe me, look up the '08 debates--it was one of the things they discussed! Honestly, I know Obama's not the greatest President in history, but he's far from the worst. I'm sure you have your reasons for disliking him, but its obviously not for anything he's done.

We will see how the majority of Americans feel in November, I think we will see the Republicans pick up more than a few seats, and that will be a statement on how folks feel about his "agenda". How old are you, 10? You know nothing about American history or the past presidents--how can you form an opinion? You've probably just heard your parents complaining about him because he's not Republican and now you're imitating them. It would be frightening if you were old enough to vote.
