  • I love Bitch Ifter

    WOO!

  • im in bk all the time, i hope hes still playin there

  • i Make chiptunes with a gameboy and im just 12 years old

  • @emanuel0831 no one cares.

    stop seeking attention.

  • 8bit music is only good for one thing. It removes the ability to have a crappy rhythm sound good simply because it is glossed up. That being said, I don't think 8bit music should be treated as a good song... Instead, I think of it as a nice raw form. I would LOVE to see 8bit song's rhythms/feel be turned into a truly beautiful song. Being well created because 8bit forces that from its creators but also not sounding like it is a trash can being banged by spoons.

  • Bitshifter is one of the many kings, I just wish there was an interview with Rushjet1

  • My brother mixes with a gameboy. Haha.

  • Bitshifter is soooo good

  • what's the song at 0:17 and 0:24?

Can i download it from 8bitpeoplesdotcom?

  • Sure! The Album is called "Information Chase"...you should also load "Trash80" which is not so puristic like the bitshifter, but is have a very great sound man!

  • The post is 6 months old... i started to make 8bit music and... i listen 8bit music (Trash, Bitshifter, NullSleep, Goto80... ect).

    Thanks anyways dude.

  • great process and idea.

    BUT!

what he makes out of it is boring.

Tree Wave is 400 times more interesting.

  • I agree in process.. Tree wave is much more interesting..

But they're two separate entities, that shouldn't be compared.

  • 8-but is cool xD

  • love this

  • DOS is 8-bit also:D

  • 8bit.. my love

  • Bit Shifter is one of the best 8bit chiptune producers!!!

    I really love his songs!:DD

  • um well the people making the 8bit music use a gameboy cartrige

i use a lsdj rom to do this but i am not that good i dont really understand the program

just google lsdj and download the rom

now google virtualboy advance and download that now opean lsdj in virtualboy then serach for tutorials lol ok nuff typeing

  • they do use nintendo gameboys to help produce the music. But they also use other sound programmes such as "littlesounddj" and also "abletron" is a good programme if you want to try and create music like this. :D

  • Good advice, jezz. :) LSDJ is a great program, but finding it in a cartridge is a bit of a challenge these days. Another good route to try is nanoloop. Bit shifter uses it as well.

  • jezzapezza, the program LSDJ is programmed to run on the DMG, so not only does it "help" produce it, it is the best way to do so.

  • interesting to be sure. Wish there was more info on how it was all set up.
