i don't like adam and morgan. i know i will get some hate for this. but it's something that makes sense to me. THE RATING SYSTEM. i despise i 1 out of 5 stars rating. it makes no sense. since their show is mainly about gaming, you would figure they would have a more intricate rating system. their wit just isn't as attractive. but morgan is hot.

fable 2 game of year? that didnt sit well either.

Yeah, when i watch this, i usually have to just listen to the points that they bring up and make a judgement on my own. With games like Too Human getting 5s ,you cant really depend on their ratings anymore anyway.

I also agree that the rating system sucks. by now, they should at least have a decimal system in place(like 4.5/5).

welll...they did explain how a 7.8 or a 2.9 out of 10 just doesnt really narrow down the game's quality, compared to a simpler, lesser whole number.

i'm not saying that they should have differant people judge. im saying this.

1st have a certain standard rating for each indivdual genre of games.

second. judge the game to that rating factor.

THATS it.

the way they do it is just a simple general rating no matter what they game. its annoying cause sometimes they complain about how a game sucks for so many reason and they give it a 3. on the flip side they praise a game and still give it a 3. makes no sense

every game should be judged by its target genre then by its overall gameplay. i've seen them complain about the playability of certain games that other games are exempt due to the game type.

i understand why normal shows would give something a one out of 5 but this is a detailed gaming show that gives you details. that one thru 5 is a half-ass way to judge. its like if i get paid to review movies and all i say is " it was alright".

you make no sense. your stupid. one through five rating systems are stupid and are generic at best. they have no real in depth look at what the game is being judged on. its fine for media out there that isn't a known critic and doesn't specialize in gaming review.

x-play is a strictly gaming show so they should hold their reviews to a stricter precise scale.

that doesn't mean that madden gets all tens you douche bag.

a 1 though 10 rating scale is the best scale for gaming ratings and reviews. because of the level of review given to the game. that tells me and everyone that the people reviewing the game took more time and consideration in its judging. not just some 1-5 crap. you can go waste money on half-ass'd reviews, you deserve it, idiot.

@mannyfresh Tell me then, what is the difference between a 2 and a 3 with a 10 point scale? The point with giving those scores is, the game isn't that good. Why have more rating numbers than necessary? 1 for crappy games, 2 for mediocre games, 3 for alright games, 4 for great games, and 5 for the best. You can't accurately base a game on a number alone. A review is just something to go by. It seems like you haven't thought that through all the way.

@specterhaterew easy, just subscribe to game informer and see how they rate. i am annoyed with the 1-5 rating system because they are simple and easy and are somewhat misleading. i, as a consumer, would rather have a game review that is DETAILED, rather then to have some person, give it a simple 1-5. come on, think about it. you are investing 50 to 65 bucks on a game. 1-5 is a brief generalized score, and gamers who spend their hard earned money deserve more than that.
