I grew up in Huntsville and I always looked forward to the Magic City Classic so that I could see ASU. This hands down is one of my all time favorite performances. ASU killed it on this one.

....But then SU played Michael Jackson's "Blood on the dance Floor"....and that was a wrap...all we could do is just shake our head back then.

This ASU isn't that big, but yet the sound is monstrous. Didn't catch them in 97. This was a really good year for a lot of bands except JSU surprisingly. 97 wasn't one of the Boom's best years. At least the two times I saw them. To my knowledge Prairie view, FAMU, TnSU, SU, and NCA&T all had really good season's then. I'm sure I missed some bands for that year, but ASU is added to the ol' mental roledex for 97. Is there any more footage from this game available via youtube?
