  • Saw them at the old Fmo 1966 I think it was. Mind blowing.

  • fuckin a...skewze mah franch, heh eh.....yeah

  • Bloomfield was just unbelieveable at this point.

  • @Building529 Some say if it weren't for the British Invasion we'd all be playing like Mike Bloomfield

  • Wish ppl would mellow down easy these days!!!

  • Done at a slower tempo with more swing and less drive than the studio cut, which is one of the greatest tracks they ever put on record - Butter and Bloomfield lock in on the break there....

  • Paul did cover this on his debut album 'The Paul Butterfield Blues Band' a few months later but that studio version was nowhere as urgent or pacey as this. Record producer Paul Rothchild was keen on a debut album of live cuts and tried but failed. A mixture of studio cuts and stuff done at Newport might have been tried.

  • the harp riff is legendary, made me love the harp til these days.

  • incredable the harp riff is legendary

  • Long and spontaneous solo by the faboulous Mike Bloomfield (only 22 years old was his age)
