Building a new machines like your Bro in Sept myself. Its going to be for 3D Roto-Scoping & HD Video Editing.. ..Hoping the FX-81XX's will be on the market so I dont have to make an Intel Machine :\
Wondering what the "Build" concept here. It seems like a gaming machine but you mentioned "picture storage", so I was thinking its for non gaming and casual use. If its for a casual user I would of went with a Athlon II x4 Propus, 4GB of Ram, a mobo with discrete on board ATI Radeon HD chipset. With those changes one might save some hardware cost and put it else-where like some cool peripheral's. (skype friendly web-cam, wireless keys+mouse)
@juggolo . ..."late september" I noticed you built with AMD parts, 2 or 3 of AMD's Orochi "Zambezi" (32 nm SOI) Bulldozer CPU's should be on the market as of Sept. 17-19.
