For Dr. Rex you have to have Recycle to create a sample. Hell if you cant afford it just use multiple NXXT I think it is called I aint turned on my computer to make music in months. Load the same sample on how ever many of them adjust them to how you want them use the start and end point so you'll know where the sample is and go that way I did it like that for 3 years before I got recycle, when I was running Reason 2.0, now I have 4.0 and only made one song out of the year I've had it.

Man, download Recycle. Its a nice program for choppin' samples. U can save files there in *.rx2 format and load it in Reason as Dr. Rex patch. I usually put whole song to Recycle, chop it and then use it in Reason. Ur welcome.
