One might argue that, as the purpose of opposite genders is reproduction, and therefore homosexuality is not normal. However this is a matter of philosophical debate. I could further state that in our modern society, wherein overpopulation is a global crisis, that perhaps reproduction is no longer as necessary and precious as it was when we were a more primal species.
This is not a new concept. Even Ancient Greece acknowledged and accepted homosexuality as natural
