  • Wow! Beautiful, thank you so much for posting this!!

  • Larmore is so fantastic in this role. She sings with so much emotion and beauty.

  • I am glad this opera is back in the repetoire. It was really genius for Bellini to set the mezzo voice against the chorus of male voices in this scene. Really makes you feel you are dealing with an aristocratic idealistic, adolescent boy. Perfect. This doesn't work as well when a tenor plays the role. That's rare but I've heard it cast that way.

  • Jennifer is coming to Atlanta in November to sing La Cenerentola. Can't wait!

  • At times, it almost sounds like she's singing too far in the back of her throat ?

  • Truly fabulous singing but BDSCalgary is right, there's no way she can look like Romeo. Quite contrasting with V. Kasarova in this very production.

  • @Arashi110 Not every singer is capable of the uncanny manliness in pants roles that Kasarova is. Larmore is still pretty convincing, and I'll take her vocalism over Kasarova's any day.

  • Jesus! That woman is so ridiculously talented!!!

  • She made a truly splendid recording of this opera with Hei Kyung Hong, who's also terrific on the recording.

  • Indeed, they are both wonderful on it!!!

  • What a great singer Larmore is! And how the Romeo shows that off! Yowza!

  • Absolutely fabulous! Of course, there is no way she can look like a "Romeo." Still, wonderful.

  • Awesome! Brava!

  • Really impressive!

  • Brava Larmore~~

  • As splendid as usual
