I've heard that all the wire surfaces should have old towels or soft cloth put over it because it's safer for the rats and they just like it that way. ^_^
@animalworld7899 Sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. :) I just was sharing what I had heard and I think the cages look fun when covered with all the colorful towels. I don't even own a rat. I just really really want one. ^_^
Cute rats I had that cage too I hated it I still have it the small one and use it for traveling.

great cage but yeah, just be careful about the wire on the bottom it can give them bumble foot

You were right this cage is smaller then your new one....Good decision on getting the other cage..but this cage was ok,but good choice... (:
