I was suddenly reminded of this game when my boyfriend was playing MGS a few weeks back. I ended up digging out the game to go on this track just to show him that it used the MGS music, and all he did was blink and say "Er.. I guess it does sound like it... a bit?" This is no joke but after Mario Kart on the SNES, this is the best Kart game ever, it really is that good, one of my fav games for sure, I still have it, was the first game I bought for my GBA, I recommend it to anyone, if you can find it nowdays, great game, great vid man, always loved the MGS stage and music, this was like the ghost level in MK for me, because you could build up some serious speed.

@gothbot6k Me too! I initially got it because I'm a huge Ganbare Goemon nerd and the characters' US appearances are few and far between, but the gameplay is incredible and I was hooked. It's the best 2D kart racing game on ANY platform, in my opinion. Other games...I just can't figure out the physics. I enjoy playing them, but...sorry Mario Kart. I love you, but Konami won this one! <3 I'd love to see a 3D version of this game...

An absolute shame there's no Sparkster or any Tokimemo character in this game's roster, but it's still an awesome roster. Pastel, Grey Fox, Takosuke & Dracula among others : I say YAY ! :D

The game also looks really impressive graphics and animation-wise, especially for a GBA launch game. Wanna get it, that's for sure.

actually, i think the Japanese title is Konami WaiWai Racing Advance...or something like that.

Konami Krazy Racers is, by far, the only Konami WaiWai World-related game to be released in and outside of Japan.
