What sucks for X-box MGS players is that you cant play MGS4 on it... And MGS4 brings the whole story together.. i thought at the end it was kinda emotional for me seeing everything.. e.g your dad.. Major zero in the wheelchair.. finally realizing everything. its a true master piece.. Deep bow for Hideo Kojima :) And his production team!
Taking out Snake is very depressing, but hopefully he will be put back into our futures of gaming an story experience. MGS has always I believe one of the best games created ever, an always will be if you really look at it with everything it has done. Hideo Kojima is truly a master at his art form & creativity.

I don't want to offend anyone but how will this game run on xbox360?MGS4 almost filled up a 80GB blu ray disc and you had to install the game to play it.Is it possible to run this metal gear game on xbox?I mean you would need a lot space on your hard disc to play it and the DVDs that xbox uses have small capacity.Guess that the graphics of this game will be worse to xbox than ps3.

I think the biggest problem and why people can't get over this being raidens game is that the game is called Metal Gear SOLID: Rising. When the Metal Gear and Metal Gear Solid are snakes story arc. They should have just gone with Metal Gear Rising as the title, it still would have sold having Metal Gear in the title and every fan of the series can recognized that..

You are very close minded, this isn't the same Metal Gear you're use to. The game doesn't need Snake to be awesome, it helps, but he was never needed. What made these games so awesome lined up in MANY factors, one of the biggest being you get to choose HOW you play, who you do or don't kill. How you're going to sneak around the crowd of enemies. And ultimately, it's ALWAYS been about the storyline, and awesome storytelling. Metal gear was more of a playable movie, true entertainment.
@Blivia snake to me IS METAL GEAR, hopefully there is a large ammount of sneaking in this one but from looks of it, a more of a.... devil may cry? closest thing i could relate it to, but i got aggree with you metal gear solid is an amazing game and i would of bought a ps3 only for Metal gear solid 4 as i played every other metal gear and love it!

I agree with you sir, my concern is that the series gameplay core has loosen its grip in its inner essence in favor of wider audience. Peace Walker already got rid of some basics of Metal Gear and that is just sad.

@Rexereman ,NO he really didn't , this is a spin off game, MGS5 is in the works ! you obviously haven't noticed (as your clearly not a TRUE fan) that MGS Rising is a spin off game, clearly not devoted to Stealth in any way ! It's an arcade slash and hack to show players Raiden's Ninja side of life as we partly saw in MGS4 ! We also clearly saw Solid Snake not die in MGS4 and Hideo Kojima would NEVER kill off his best and most loved character by replacing him and his game with Raiden !

@zakosal Dude, wtf are you talkin about? The makers themselves even said the PS3 version will be vastly superior since it was made from the ground up for the PS3 just like how Metal Gear Solid 4 was. The 360 version will probably be a compressed lower quality version with multiple discs. That's why I'm getting this for my PS3 instead of my 360.

What sucks for X-box MGS players is that you cant play MGS4 on it... And MGS4 brings the whole story together.. i thought at the end it was kinda emotional for me seeing everything.. e.g your dad.. Major zero in the wheelchair.. finally realizing everything. its a true master piece.. Deep bow for Hideo Kojima :) And his production team!

Taking out Snake is very depressing, but hopefully he will be put back into our futures of gaming an story experience. MGS has always I believe one of the best games created ever, an always will be if you really look at it with everything it has done. Hideo Kojima is truly a master at his art form & creativity.

I don't want to offend anyone but how will this game run on xbox360?MGS4 almost filled up a 80GB blu ray disc and you had to install the game to play it.Is it possible to run this metal gear game on xbox?I mean you would need a lot space on your hard disc to play it and the DVDs that xbox uses have small capacity.Guess that the graphics of this game will be worse to xbox than ps3.

I think the biggest problem and why people can't get over this being raidens game is that the game is called Metal Gear SOLID: Rising. When the Metal Gear and Metal Gear Solid are snakes story arc. They should have just gone with Metal Gear Rising as the title, it still would have sold having Metal Gear in the title and every fan of the series can recognized that..

You are very close minded, this isn't the same Metal Gear you're use to. The game doesn't need Snake to be awesome, it helps, but he was never needed. What made these games so awesome lined up in MANY factors, one of the biggest being you get to choose HOW you play, who you do or don't kill. How you're going to sneak around the crowd of enemies. And ultimately, it's ALWAYS been about the storyline, and awesome storytelling. Metal gear was more of a playable movie, true entertainment.

Actually, it was the story combined with characters we loved to look up to.
Second of all, it was the atmosphere that came with the enviroment.
That concludes the scenarios, the maps and even more the graphic combined with the music.
That is what Metal Gear is all trully abouth.
Telling a story that thouches your very heart true every sense that is humanily possible..
For me, it twas the story and the music. MGS has one of the best soundtracks ever,
