I made 4-5 vids with my new cam that said it was YT ready, and none of them rendered, and I gave up, so I am going back to my shitty cam( I was never using again for vids, just stills,) to post again but heh, whatcanido?

Wow! That's crazy! YouTube must have been having some issues today, because I've heard that quite a few people have had uploading issues.

Thanks for making this Jason! I think a lot of us need to kick-start the new year and start making some new videos -- it IS almost March! It's good to know I'm not the only one deal with these uploading issues. My video never rendered after FIVE hours! Then I reuploaded it (while the other one was processing) and after 2 hours, that one uploaded. Why offer HQ and/or HD if the uploads don't even work? Anyway, this is a fun experiment and good to see a lot of ppl getting on board!

You're welcome! Yeah, I've been wanting to vlog more, but I haven't really had anything to vlog about. I guess it's time to just turn on the camera and vlog about whatever comes to mind! Yeah, I read somewhere that YouTube is doing away with HQ now, and sticking with HD. So, from now on videos will probably either be SD or HD. This video uploaded and processed in less than 3 minutes! I guess because it was only about 9MB! Haha

Wow...that really sucks for those of us who don't want to waste our time with HD. What a joke!

Yeah, it sucks. One thing I have noticed is that if you render your video how it would normally play in HQ, you can add the &fmt=18 code at the end and it still plays in HQ. I just don't understand why they just don't leave the HQ option there for us, along with the HD.

Yeah, I hope so too. But, they'll probably add another new feature before they fix a bug.
