you got friends, some asshole from your universe called me up on the phone and said wtf casca? I said, I like Bear, he said, have you listened. Now I have. Thanks richard, but don't belittle Bear, or It's a yadadada thingy, then we firht.
Absolutely one of the classic pieces of music for any TV series EVER. Brilliant in it's evocation of profound loss, yet somehow still evokes a sense of hope. Thank you, Mr. McCreary!
Awesome...I like how this track uses a modified version of the motif from track 1 at 0:38 and 1:56, which is one of my favorite motif's in the miniseries :)
The little montage that played with this track is what made me fall in love with this series. Seeing Captain Kelly, on the brink of breaking down in tears, walking around the makeshift morgue picking up dogtags by the handful. It set the tone of the series.
This piece brought out sensations, thoughts, emotions related to the release of an agony; some muted joy and relief upon finding some small sanctuary if only for a moment...and knowing that the horrors that one is escaping from will have to be faced again
I agree. This was a very emotional piece and I teared up a little when I first watched the Miniseries and this piece played over top of what was being shone. One of my favourite pieces from the Miniseries soundtrack.

this is an amazing track!!! I just started watching Battlestar Galactica and I fell in love when this played
I really don't like science fiction but the characters are so real it just draws you in and won't let you go
kudos to the director and the actors
