Gold is the place to store excess wealth. In the next year gold is looking do go way up!! However, most people don't have enough basic supplies to get through a few months of hard times in a collapse. In a real economic collapse, bread, whiskey, bullets, cigarettes, and gas will have more trading value... I was only using Celente's statement of what happened in 1933. My opinion can still differ from his. Celente isn't a christian that I'm aware, so he may not see things the way I do.
The depression was deflationary and our currency was tied to the gold standard then. Now the opposite is true. This is why they wont do the same thing and confiscate. Matthew 24: When the fig Tree sprouts forth its leaves this generation shall not pass. Think its talking about Israel becoming a state and then after that the generation after it shall not pass to all the prophecies be fullfilled. We are living in the fina; generation. Whats a generation 70 years and Israel became a state in 1948 didnt it? So 70 years will be in 2018. Not saying thats the date Jesus Comes back but we are defiantely close to the tribulation. Within years or less.

Sucks right now ,but it will really suck during the tribulation. Will be like hell on earth, our rights will be takin away and will probably be under marshall law and a communist world government. Tribulation will start after the 7 year peace treaty is signed. The Temple will be built soon after.

First priority food reserves. If you are blessed with savings then convert it to gold/silver and you will maintain purchasing power until it all climaxes. in the interim you are more useful as a Christian if you can help others with nothing because you saved up for the storm. Prepare like in the time of Moses, right? Not converting your fiat currency to food, then metals is akin to not taking it out of a burning house. It is not greed, it is a tool for good use if you are pure of heart.

Brother im here in Argentina I seen everything that can be done to paper money believe me. my mother by the grace of God took out her savings one day before they closed the banks. this will happen to America. at least gold can be bartered for food ect. when things get tough. ive seen people from cambodia after the pol pot regime barter with gold as thier currancy was worthless. whatever you do do not keep money in banks.

Firecharger, I don't own any gold or silver, but I truly believe Americans are not going to freely give up their gold and silver. They may have back in the day. But now it's like asking the American people to give up their weapons and bullets. If this happens in the US you can count on that there will be lots of blood shed.

If the trib already started, the pre-trib theory would obviously have to be scrapped. I think it's pretty safe to say that this ain't the trib.
Where's the two witnesses, where's the 144,000? Where's the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse?
Why hasn't Gog/Magog happened yet if it takes 7 years to burn the weapons.
We are NOT in the trib yet. People will KNOW when we are.

the difference now is that the nwo elite are intentionally trying to devalue the dollar which will in turn create a currency crisis for all fiat currencies as they will ALL lose value in realtion to commodities. Gold and silver are one of the biggest ways the eiltes are protecting themselves- you need to also. Obviously gold wont save you, only Jesus will but why not protect yourself in the short term with gold/silver the same way as ammo/food/water? Same concept!

Some of the prophecies and such that I've heard point to the idea that most people won't be able to stay in their houses, then all their stored goods will be left for someone else.
I really think God will know how to punish the sinner even if he's in a fallout shelter with a lifetime supply of peanut butter. No one can out smart God or hide from His judgment.

I generally like your videos, but on this one I don't think you provided a balanced treatment of the situation.
First of all, if you watch any videos from Celente you will see he is big on owning gold and silver. Second, just because Big Brother may want to confiscate the metals does not mean I have to give them up willingly and it will be a cold day in h*** before I do. Thirdly, if people have extra money, besides food and water what makes better sense than gold and silver?

I was only using Celente's statement of what happened in 1933. My opinion can still differ from his. Celente isn't a christian that I'm aware, so he may not see things the way I do.

The depression was deflationary and our currency was tied to the gold standard then. Now the opposite is true. This is why they wont do the same thing and confiscate. They needed a way to print more money (hence being tied to gold) so they needed the confiscation to acquire more gold. Now, they just turn on the printing press via helicopter Ben. Gold/silver is a MUST HAVE... behind food/water/guns/Jesus.

@kenandjasha Absolutely right. I 100% agree that we need to prepare with food and supplies, but not buying Gold and Silver (coins, that's key) is simply foolhardy. God gave us common sense, so we should use it. Right?

The bible talks about during the tribulation that they will take peoples gold and money will be worthless. But in all honesty if your still around in the tribulation all hope is lost for you anyways, so money is a nonissue at that point anyways.

I don't see anything wrong with aquiring some gold and silver. Precious metals have been a storehouse of wealth for thousands of years.
I agree it is more important to have a right relationship with Jesus. And of course having a supply of food and water is important too. But if the pretribulation people are wrong and christians do have to live through part of the tribulation period, then having precious metals, medicines, guns and ammo can serve as good barter items.
