dont bash me ... but it seems there is a lot of hype about a very popular idol member pole dancing on a horizontal pole at their concert (refer to allkpop). But to be honest - if i were to compare, Bora's version of pole dancing doesn't look provocative at all but rather show strength and it turns into something that you will watch in awe, not because it is sexy, but to how beautiful pole dancing can be. For this, I salute Bora for changing the perception of pole dancing.

as beautiful as bora moves my favorite part is around 0.31 where she fails to complete a move. she smiles and tries again. that's my favorite part because that is what makes a dancer and what makes dance beautiful. it's amazing how much work it takes to make things look beautiful and easy.

Little kids "pole dance" all the time on the playground. I know I used to do stunts on the little playground fire poles as well as on the monkey bars. It's virtually the same thing only to music. Pole dancing is tons of fun and a nice workout.

But i definitely agree that it really can be beautiful when done in a DANCE form.
