  • this is like world of tanks, but sooo much cooler!

  • @MrDasWeener haha you're damn right!

  • How much does such an average tank weigh ??

  • @snokker44 Around 250kg.,

  • Coolest thing I have ever seen in my entire life. So jealous man :(

  • @Fox429 I'm so glad u like it man -=D

  • this gas or electric and also what was the price im trying to get exactly the same size and tank

  • It's electric, powered by two 500w 24V motors. And it costs around US$12,000

  • thats well cool just looks like a real full size tank

  • can he shoot 2?;d

  • Well it only "shoots" pyrotechnics but of course u can modify it to a real gun.

  • holy shit.... what do you need... a trailer to transport that or something??

  • THat park was only few "tank driving" mins from my home so I could simply drive the tank there. For longer distance, a van is needed.

  • good video!!

and a very good tank too!!

  • Y do tanks have only like half thier track armor on? like this one and most RL pics of German armor half that armor above the tracks is missing....it get shot off or what lol

  • U've guessed right, mudguards did come off frequently from various reasons. Got shot off, shed while travelling across terrain etc

  • it also looked good!!

  • EXACTLY!! =D

  • thats cos if it snaps anywhere, its easyeir to repair it

  • my 1:12 scale airsoft tank would shit its pants seeing that monster lol...

  • 1/12 scale

  • is 1/4 scale the biggest?

  • For what you can buy, yes it is.

  • cool thanks

  • huge!! how high is it? and long? 250 kg :O :O

  • Including the gun pointing forward it measures 8 ft long, and 3 ft tall.

  • Alright, a few questions from s.o. who hasn't heard of this hobby before (I might call it "hobby-tanking").

Are you allowed to use that thing in public places, e.g. in a park? Any saftey regulations you have to follow? How much does it weight?

How do your neighbors react when you go into "battle"? Is it strong enough to carry a person a few meters or would it break down?

Why is it that Brits seem 2 b intersted in German WWII tanks? Never seen such a thing here in Germany. Quite unusual hobby.

  • Thanks for viewig the viewing the video. It's not a rare hobby anyway and rc tanks are VERY common in Germany too, check around! And yes I'm allowed to use the tank in public areas, as long as I keep it on the pavement and avoid running little kids over =D. This tank weighs around 250kg. My neighbours absolutely love it! And I did sit on it and drove myself around for 1 mile.

  • Thanks for answering. I understand these things are build in Wolgograd (Russia) by a small company whose boss accidently died a couple of weeks ago, so much correct? Then there's distributors in the Uk & Germany, I found out. Looks like a fun hobby, however not my cup of tea. And not for that money to be honest...puh... I could attend language school for one year or get a new car. Greetz

  • You're right, Russian made but extensively modified in the UK. it is indeed an expensive hobby, and I only bought it after I bought a car and had spare money.

  • you can get one for about £3600 on mark 1 tank its a website

  • THat's for a 1/6 scale =D

  • How much would something like this cost?

  • Around US$13760 now.

  • Wow, as cool as that is i rather have a car or somthin lol. maybe when im rich ill get a few of them and have lil wars an shit lol

  • Yes u're right, that's exactly what I did.

  • so this thing cost more than 13000 dollars?1?

  • Yes it does =D

  • what speed can this monster get up to and can u yell the the length of this one please L W H Thanks :)

  • Max speed 5 mph, and I don't understand the second part of ur question, sorry.

  • Length, Width, Height

    Thanks lol

  • Oops sorry hehehehe didn't realise that

8 ft long (with the gun pointing forward), 3 ft wide, 3 ft high.

  • no problem thanks for the lengths

  • how heavy was it?

    how long was it?

  • It weighs around 250kg and 8 ft long (inc the gun)

  • how much was it?

  • Around 8500 british pounds. US$12,000

  • That is just way too cool. What sort of engine makes it go. And if you wanted to, could you make it fire a projectile, or would that damage it?

  • It's powered by two 500W 24V chain-driven motors. And YES if I wanted to I could have fitted a REAL gun to it, or paintball =D

  • its ok to drive it through water?

  • Well yes and no, it can ford water up to 25cm deep.

  • and it weighs 250kg, so thats 500lbs right?

  • Yes you're right =D

  • whoa lol

  • GREAT good job

  • can it climb stuff

  • Yes check my other videos.

  • couple questions, what do u load in it to make it fire the cannon and how much roughly u have wrapped up in it?

  • It 'fires' pyrotechnics and which elecontrically detonated. The whole tank costs me around 8500 british pounds.

  • is that thing pretty fast

  • max 5mph.

  • Brilliant! Hans Guderian would be proud; but proud in 1/4 scale. Good work.

  • man, thats a really nice toy. Really, really nice.

I think I read before that you use 2 car batteries? Can't you fit an engine? How much bigger does it have to be for a person to fit inside?

  • Thanks for your compliments! Yes u can fit a petrol engine inside but it just won't sound right (a KT sounds like a lawn mower?). I think a 1/3 or 1/2.5 scale could fit a person inside comfortably.

  • Definately, checkout youtube user

    "Gizmo4t"

  • Nice, can hardly tell its an R/C! me and you got to get to geather some day and make some vids, once i get some money =P but getting one over there will be tricky. they'll scan the suitcase and see a tank =D how funny would that be.

  • No worries it won't fit into ur suitcase hehehehe

  • 5 star

  • how big is this compared to a person

  • It is around 2.5ft high, 8ft long (with the barrel).

  • how much does one of these bad boys cost???

  • It costs around 8000 GBP

  • i badly want 1!!!!!

  • hi gabe, i dont want to be a mood killer because that is a great video, but i am certain i hered motor wine. from my technologys classes, i know that is some thing you dont want to be hearing. keep the speed lower, that weight aint susposed to move quickly. Look After It!

  • hehehehe wooooo very good hearing mate! I could hear it too but the max speed through the pond was quite a sight!! =PPP

  • oh dont get me wrong, it looked very good. but i know that motor wine is never a good sign. can i ask if you FET speed controllers get very hot? do you have a fan to cool them down?

  • hehehehe no it doesn't get hot and I don't think a fan is needed to cool it down. Motor wines is normal, it happened to my 1/6 KT, and since this KT has got bigger motors so it's not a surprise that u can hear it =D

  • oooo YES it is possible to fit a REAL shotgun inside but sadly it's illegal in UK. It runs on electric motors powered by 24V batteries.

  • nice tank
