Kid Ramos and Michael "Hollywood Fats" Clark cut their teeth backing James Harmon in 1985. Fats stuck a needle in his arm and bailed out and The Kid went on to do good works in the music biz. Touche', Ramos!

Regarding the Vox amp, yes, I too was impressed to see that Kid was using one. However, he uses it in combination with a Fender, usually a Super Reverb I think. Now, THAT'S a sound - I speak from experience, although I had to sell the Super. I'm going to replace it when times change! I still have the Vox, it's an original 1961 and on about 6 it sounds like Cream-era Clapton when i play a Les Paul.

Kid and Kim were a great team, I saw them a few times and it was always superb.

Notice the sweat dripping off of his elbow. A lot of people probably don't realise how much energy is required to play the harp in this style. I know when I play, even when it's cold , It doesn't take long before I get worked up in a lather. Nice solo. Lots of energy. Keep blowin Kim.

I saw the T-Birds along with Kim and Kid at a concert it was awesome, when I approached Kim and asked if Jimmy V was with the group, he shot me a look and said Jimmy V was never with the T-Birds. He signed an autograph for me and walked away a little disgusted at my question.

Jimmie hasnt been worth a shit since Stevie died. Then again, neither has anyone else... Stevie's death took the gas out of the tank for everybody in the blues, and we've still not recovered.

seemed like a good show...image ...I must say they look fit and healthy. Kim has played Australia a couple times at least..I was lucky enough to see him once with theTbirds, Stevie Ray and Jimmy ( who played Wham on one two necked Strat). KW was always great, a fine player/singer, very entertaining. When this clip started I thought it was a Freddie King number ...then flip flop and fly..then etc..etc. 6 min solo? I dont know...by the end it just seemed a disappointing attempt at James Cotton

at the age of 19 Kid Ramos was playing in same band as Hollywood Fats (James Harman Band).. Huge influence there, Fats still lives in the playing of Ramos and a few others. thanks for posting!

not sure if the muscles help with the guitar,but saw a gig one time in Anaheim. a silly white boy apparently overlooked the muscles and said something uncool to David.(according to my girlfriend, it was a 7 letter phrase beginning with "F"). David handed his guitar to slim, and the swb was on the floor in a heartbeat. Pay attention to those muscles, not to mention the licks Have also seen Kim get a standing O for the harp solo. You Tube doesn't do it justice, but nice to relive the memories
