  • ELIMINATe CUP H2O as it is too watery looking in the casserole

  • 1 Red Capsicum (aka Bell Pepper)

Here a Bell Pepper is green red or orange and has no capsicum, rather they are slightly sweet like an apple.

  • I perked up when you said Hokkien noodles. I don't think I ever heard any other non-Asian chefs say that. They'd say egg noodles or something. Haha, I'm too easily amused. Or maybe Hokkien noodles is already a common term in Australia, I don't know.

    Anyways, nice recipe.

  • Actually the Chinese use flour instead of breadcrumbs. Still looks good btw.

  • :>

  • Asian Balls... Sounds... Appetizing..

enough? I would love to do some

    Chinese Dishes on my Stove....David

  • @DPDeHart 200 degrees Celsius = 392 degrees Fahrenheit

  • i am a vegetarian. do you think you could do an all vegetarian recipie?

  • @nibsbobo - you can probably use lentils in lieu of meat. Not sure what kind of adhesive to use as an egg replacer. Hope this helps! J Heslin

  • looks very good, thanks for sharing!

  • i want to personal message you my recipe for Lemon Meringue Pie that is hell easy and i reckon you might like it :-D but i cant find where to go to personal message you :-(

  • I love your channel but since when did chinese make meatballs? are my parents hiding my culture from me!?!?!?

  • @sacredbluefire I think they have been hiding it from you...

  • @sacredbluefire Fusion cooking is when you mix two cooking styles like Texan and Mexican, which would be TexMex (yum!). Con-fusion is when you mix two styles like Chinese and Italian. I would try this, though.

  • @sacredbluefire - No one ever made you Lions Head meatballs for the New Year? You poor baby! This is my first year trying some traditional celebration recipes for my Chinese husband.

  • @sacredbluefire Chinese meatballs (specifically, a dish common in Shanghai cuisine) are most often made of pork and are usually steamed or boiled, either as-is, or with the addition of soy sauce. Large meatballs, called lion's heads, can range in size from about 5 cm to 10 cm in diameter. Smaller varieties, called pork balls, are used in soups. A Cantonese variant, the steamed meatball, is made of beef and served as a dim sum dish...

  • @sacredbluefire A similar dish is called the beef ball, and the fish ball is yet another variety made from pulverized fish. In northern China, irregular balls made from minced meat and flour are often deep-fried and eaten for special occasions.

  • @sacredbluefire Um. Lol. I know my mum makes meatballs ;D She puts them in century egg porridge.

  • @sacredbluefire since when are chinese restaurants actually chinese food? hahaha

  • @sacredbluefire don't make stupid assumptions when you do not know a thing...stupid

  • @sam151188 it's not a stupid assumption. I'm Chinese and my parents have never made this. GG

  • @sacredbluefire 你知道什么是“狮子头” 吗?

  • Why do I ALWAYS watch your videos at a ridiculous time like 3am or something (even though it's midnight now) so I have to go to bed with a hungry stomach & cravings? I think it's partly got to do with the fact that you live on the other side of the world lol. Yum.

  • This looks really delicious.

  • @OnePotChefShow ok thx :)

  • Third! wooohooo

  • when you say grams can u also say it in cups! thank you so much it would help me make your recipes much easier

  • @cass98765 There is a link on my channel page to a Measurement Conversion chart that will help you out ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow I love your show! Thank you for calling us "my American friends" that made my day. :)

  • @cass98765 grams makes much more sense, cups is too ambiguous as it differs from country to country. a gram is a gram

  • @cass98765 Can't be so hard to google took me 10sec 1cup = 128gram easy from there...

  • @cass98765 exactly. OUR flag is on the moon and youtube is a RED-BLOODED AMURICAN website. If you or the uploader don't like it you can gtfo.

  • @cass98765 NO, cups isn't a real measurement. The metric system is superior in every way. Learn it and spread it.

  • Not first!
