  • thats epic bro

  • how can any one dislike this?

  • This things lokks great but fact that it basically Ga,eBoy with some cartridge - doesn't this mean that this is just a hack?

  • Nice, only thing constructive criticism to add is the shape of the cabinet, it doesn't look like the original. Very well done.

  • Hello How much for Making me one One with the Killer Instict game and another with Mortal Kombat Game

  • RACID

  • This is really cool I wish I could build one of this myself, but you already mentioned that if I want info about how to build one and also if I want to buy one, you post your e-mail. I already sent you an email before, but you didn't reply me and so I was wondering If could reach you from here and tell me the price of one.

  • @kissalive352009

I have a 1 week backlog on my emails at any point in time. So I should get back to you shortly if you have emailed me at my gmail account.

  • @vcoleiro1 that's why you don't respond all really neally. So it's best to email you a week in advance when I'm about to have enough money. then when you respond, I'll have the money ready. btw, $300 to make one and $55 to post it all in AUD right? that's what you told me via email. just want to make sure.

  • @classicsonic91

If enough people are interested I can do it for $250 + Post. Sorry if I am slow with email, there is a back log

  • what happens when it runs out of energy???

  • R u still selling these?

  • have you tried relocating the cartridge slot on any of these so they're accessable from outside the machine (top rear perhaps?)

  • @johnpatrickrunnels lul u mad cuz ur old?

  • Do u have a video on how to make it

  • @chucknoarus why would you say something like that, you sound like a little bitch.

  • 0_0 good job !!!!

  • But, will it blend?

  • Dude could you make a video on how to build it? Looks sweet by the way great job!

  • where did you get the joystick from

  • I love it! Thanks for sharing.

  • Never mind

  • Where can I buy or how can I make it?! Answer the question!!

  • but.... will it blend?

  • i think the BAD DUDES arcade cabinet looks really nice. that and ALTERED BEAST. the original artwork on those cabs is amazing. that would turn out well.

  • I WANT IT!!!

  • @bestsonicfanever I DON"T KNOW WHAT WE'RE YELLING ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!! LOUD NOISES!!!!

  • RARE!!!!!

  • freaking awesome !!

  • Hi! THIS COULD BE THE WORLDS SMALLEST ARCADE MACHINE!!

try going to Guinness worlds record website and try to see if it the smallest or something..

    anyway..AWESOME!

  • @JibranHaidery an arcade machine has to accept some type of currency from the public, otherwise this will qualify for a "portable" device, whether you call it a tabletop, handheld, or "arcade," portable will be the category, not arcade.

  • nice! but you only need one ground wire

  • I love this video and I hope you make more videos like this

    One question though

Is it possible to make your own buttons out of old controllers

Cause I have a stupid retro duo controller

And I want to know if I can use the buttons from the controller and use it on the gameboy advance sp arcade machine

    Please respond soon

  • how much for one?

  • @niraveger

If you would like one, I can make one for $250 Aussie dollars plus postage. It takes 5 days to make each one by hand. Alternatively, if you want to make one yourself, it will cost about $120-$150 in parts plus cost of the tools. All the parts can be sourced online at various places. Id be happy to provide further info if you do want to build one yourself. Either way email me at vcoleiro1@gmail.com

  • @vcoleiro1 are you licensed by the company that owns the rights to space invaders to make and sell these? You could get sued for a lot of money if not.

  • @ChuckNoarus

It uses a licensed space invaders cartridge not a mame rom. In any event it doesnt really matter, as I dont make these anymore, just blank painted cabs to allow people to make there own creation if they want.

  • @ChuckNoarus If he is selling a genuine cartridge with it then there are no issues.....

  • @vcoleiro I'm interested in using the Joystick for a project I'm thinking of, how well does it control?

  • @CanadiensUnplugged

The joystick controls very well. It also is very robust and wont break easily like those tiny 4 way microswitch's.

  • @vcoleiro1 Thanks for the reply. One more question, can I have input diagonally with this joystick? Will it just activate 2 directions? Or am I stuck with just one direction at a time?

  • @CanadiensUnplugged

Ive never checked, It is listed as a 4-way joystick , however, I have heard another youtuber who used this joystick say it can do Diagonals.

  • @vcoleiro1 Thanks for the help.

  • @CanadiensUnplugged

I just checked the joystick on Xevious , and good news, it does do diagonals

  • @vcoleiro1 Oh sweet, thank you so much for the help.

  • Very, nice work, good job.

  • Sooo cool. How much for one? I'll buy it. I'll send you a GBA with space invaders.

Your cabinet looks super nice, and thanks for mentioning me.

  • how do you charge it? how can you put that memory you said to have hundreds of games? hope you can answer me

  • Amazing...

  • I had a similar idea where the GBA would slide into a small cabinet from the back with no hacking involved. The cabinet joystick and buttons could be like spring loaded pass-through things, where they press down onto the gba d-pad and buttons. Shoulder buttons would be a bit awkward that way, but they wouldn't really be necessary in a lot of the older arcade games anyway. Anyway, sweet machine!

  • where can i buy it? i wont one!

  • How much would it cost me to buy a mini street fighter 2 gba mini arcade cabinet from you?

  • @KamenRiderBlackSun send me a message on how much pls

  • need! want!

  • I think it would be nice to build a whole arcade. Like a Doll House, but an arcade. Full of these that you could take out and play.

  • This is great work! I was wondering, can you make one even smaller using the innards of a Gameboy Micro? ha! :P

  • SO AWESOME!!! :D

  • Heavy : IT IS SO TINY!

  • this is cool

  • Amazing! It would be great if you signed on with a manufacturer to make and sell kits.

  • How much would you chrage for one? I like it!

  • I noticed a few comments asking whether I would build and sell one, if you are interested in buying one , email me by clicking on my username, and then clicking the "send message" link on my profile page or email me at

    vcoleiro1@gmail.com

Alternatively if you would like more details on how to build one for yourself , then also feel free to send me a message with any questions you have. I'll be happy to answer them.

  • @vcoleiro1 Thanks for uploading this and showing us your talent. Simply amazing.

  • Mass produce those m8! You'd make a fortune!

  • This is amazing, thanks for the specs and joystick part number! What size are the buttons you used? Could you link the seller for them?

  • Would you be willing to make one for sale??

  • Man, I really want to create a Street Fighter Alpha 3 mini arcade cabinet now... The GBA port of SFA3 is fantastic.

  • @Falciase

Check out the excellent GBA Street Fighter cab made by youtuber lozpeters1,

  • @vcoleiro1

    Ahh, yes, very cool.

May I ask-- I don't know anything about wiring buttons and stuff, but am going to learn. I'm going to build a SFA3 mini cabinet using a GBA SP like you have done-- I found the joystick you used, but what should I search for on eBay in order to find the buttons that you used? They look quite ideal for what I want!

Also, I was wondering-- would it be feasible to wire up one of the buttons to where, when pressed, it would press TWO buttons on the GBA?

  • neat video

  • The GBA version isn't exactly arcade accurate to the original SI, but that doesn't detract from this at all.

I'm sure if I saw this when I was 10 years old in 1979 I would have crapped in my pants. :) Awesome job.

  • You sound like Julian Assange.

  • @DeViAnAlex Well Julian has much time now in house arrest. maybe he is it really

  • Man! check the market! some people will buy this thing!!!!!

  • Does this work on other GBA games?

  • @louman7777777 Of course it does...all you do is replace the cartridge -_-;;

  • Simply Fantastic! That cabinet reminds me of my Arcade gaming days where i always had crowds watching me kickass.

  • That's awesome man, and you're from Melbourne too!

    :)

  • tight stuff. I played this on an old atari when i was a kid.

  • i didnt know they made joystick and buttons that small.

  • You should make a Street Fighter mini arcade machine.

  • @luigitails100

Already been fantastically done by lozpeters1, check out his youtube vid of it , its excellent

  • @vcoleiro1 oh shit how much you want for a street fighter min arcade machine? name your price im for real

  • @TheStreetfightercody

Check out the Streetfighter GBA cab made by lozpeters1, Im sure if you email him he will make you one.

  • @vcoleiro1 i checked it out already. lets hope he replys.

  • Awsome man love the graphics, i think i will be buying some of those joystics for my arcade maches, how heavy duty are they? i have gone through so many of my little joysticks, there just not strong enough!!!

  • @lozpeters1

Thanks dude, your kick ass mini street fighter was definately an insparation.

The joystick is very robust , just be carefull not to keep the iron on the solder pins to long as I did (what was I thinking) , the pin over heated and melted the plastic a bit on the bottom, not that you can see that anyway. Its also the same joystick 33Bender used on his Smallest donkey kong machine which is definately worth checking out if you havent already seen it.
