  • Well done, Rachel. You are an extraordinary person with an extraordinary gift.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • I've probably heard this piece more than 200 times since I bought the live album in 1976. I get chills from how beautifully this young woman nailed it. I've little doubt that Keith would be so impressed by her accomplishments.

  • I didn't realize Rachel was blind when I first saw/heard this. Forgive me all for my ignorant observation. What a gifted young lady!

  • Impeccable playing, I'm blown away. No sheet music, she's doing this all FROM MEMORY??????? If so it goes beyond brilliant to genius.

  • @ChasBeauregarde

Superior memory is part of it.

  • Rachel, not only are you a phenomenon, but you honour Keith Emerson again and again (and why not). I trust he knows of your enthusiasm for his work. He really ougt to!!!

  • First heard this in 1970! Hearing you play it gave me goose bumps!

  • Magnificent performance, by this young lady! <3

  • Just love your playing. You are great. The Nice were one of my all time favourites.

  • THIRD BRIDGE Take me to Northumberland Street Where Northumberland people test their feet On a pavement On a crowded afternoon And no one wants to change this But I bet they'll do quite soon. Take me to the new town hall With the light show on the wall In the evening All crimson, green and blue Has your mother ever noticed? Perhaps she will quite soon. Thank you Rachel

  • Il mio cuore batte sempre di più... Sei magnifica !!!

  • Hai rubato il mio cuore... Fantastica donna mucista, ascoltari è cosa unica.

  • Lovely, Rachel ; one of my favourite albums is Five Bridges and you play beautifully. Keith ought to watch this and hear it if he hasn't already ; he would love it himself !!

  • Great,fantastic!!!!!

  • I've come to expect the flawless and compelling playing heard here. Rachel is a stunningly gifted musician. What really blew me away in this one is the wonderful transcription of the piece, which originally only had intermittent keyboard solos and featured an orchestra. I would absolutely love to hear her perform Tarkus in this manner. Her organ performance on YouTube is amazing, but a piano solo version would be stupendous. There are only snippets of Emerson doing such. Bravo again.

  • Congratulations, you're the most talented player I heard so far interpreting KE music. I could not stop watching this video... this is the real thing. Why don't you edit the scores? I'm sure Keith himself 'd be happy

  • Absolutely stunning. This had me smiling in disbelief ! You have an incredible talent.

  • Hi Rachel, I have been a follower of Keith Emerson since the good old sixties, As long as I am able I will be wathching for more of your brilliant playing on you tube.

    Kind Regards. roybozwell

  • Keep smiling Rachel,you earned it :)

  • You made my day. Thanks !!!

  • I've never payed much attention to Keith's early stuff with the Nice, so this was like hearing a young Keith jamming for the first time. Rachel, I swear your chops have gotten better just in the short time I've known you.

  • magna carta label should do a Emerson tribute with Rachel playing!, ELP and Nice on piano

  • Simply... great!!

  • Wow this is just so genious! I LOVE her! xx

  • Simply Brilliantly interpreted and played! I can't find any words for her talent!

Did Rachel transcribe this herself? I don't know of any sheet music out there. Anyway, I really want to transcribe the complete Suite myself, just for the sure pleasure of doing it.

  • Astounding....again! The very soul of the piece.....right here. I've seen it, and I'm a Believer.

  • Just amazing! Thank you so much for sharing your talent! Always a joy to watch and listen to you play! Mary Ann

  • Brilliant!

  • It's like watching and hearing Keith, thank you so much for sharing your supurb talent. When I have a chance I am putting this on my Ipod. Lovely lovely lovely!!!

  • I swallowed the "Five Bridges Suite" whole in 1978 when I was 18, and it has held up well over the years. Rachel's interpretation here is enthralling!

  • Excellent!

  • Rachel,

I have heard many recordings of ELP and The Nice by various people over the years, having been a fan of ELP and The Nice since 1973. None, however, can rival yours. You are an absolutely stunning and amazing talent. Your playing brought a tear to my eye. Please keep up with your amazing interpretations. I can only hope to see you one day in concert!

    Ray

  • Always great. Waiting for second part!
