  • I thought traditional Marranitos were made with dark molasses and don't actually have ginger in them, but are still often called "gingerbread" cookies.

  • Mmmm they look wonderful

  • This is the best Mexican bread I'v ever tasted.

  • ive been eating there since i was a baby i love it

  • Do you have any idea how they make empanadas? I am trying to make the Rio Grande valley version of empanadas but can't find a recipe anywhere. I can't tell if the Valley empanadas are baked or fried. I sure miss the conchas.

  • The two sweet breads I have spoken of "pumpkin enpanada" (turnover) and "maranitos" ginger bread shaped as little pigs...are the best choice nutrition wise at the bakery.

  • Thank you so much for this video, as a latina I enjoy this bread often!!

how many calories do you think are in the maranitos? because I LOVE them & I just want to know how many calories it is so I can properly log my calories in my journal. Thanks!
