They give you information that isn't necessary and/or doesn't even make sense in anyway, shape, or form. I find the best place is off-stage either in the middle of the bleachers or up top where the light switch is. This helps prevent seperation via spitters or smokers along with a nice open area that will help your footwork when avoiding a Tank. You can also set up fireworks/gas in both the inner top doors and on the edges of the middle bleachers to cut down on the horde that spawn or to set a tank on fire. Guitar's are reccomended to escape when you get surrounded.
One of the worst strategies in that mission is indeed staying in the stage.

@l4dful I love melee weaps and always use them and i agree for guitars... btw standing over the stage is the worst thing you can do, there you will be surrounded in a while and (even with friends) even special infected can overrun the team cause you have to defend too many sides.
But if you go upright from the stage there you back is covered, so 1 snipes, 1 nades 2 does the rest .... you back is covered and u have all the stage as a big firing camp :D .
@l4dful i know about turrets ... but there are still too many sides to defend. A smoker can get you from behind, if a spitter spits over the turred team muste leave immediately and jump into the horde ... and if there is the tank => team is dead in 70% of the cases based upon the team skills. The best u can do in tat mission is to haave your back covered in the upright corner.
And you need to keep an adrenaline shot for the final run to the chopper.

Staying on the stage is the worst strategy. Ever!! at the stage zombies comes in at all direction fast. A strategy that works well will be to stay in the highest corner of the bleachers/stairs where the audience will sit. facing the bleachers from stage, the best spot is to stay on the highest corner on the right of the bleachers. camp there. have at least one person having a sniper(to kill special infected fast) and another a melee. laying of gastanks/firewworks are optional, but it helps.
I don't know why anyone thinks the stage is a good place for this finale. You've got infected coming from too many directions, view is obstructed on the side, and it's difficult to cover your teammates if you're all covering different directions. It's much easier to hold up in the corner in the stands (above where you come in). You have a clear, open view (if you have a sniper he can kill SI long before they reach you), and plenty of room to deal with Tanks, avoid Spitter acid, etc.
You should just leave these kind of videos to pro players. The stage is a noob spot. Camp above the entrance to concert hall (the doorway u come from that gets locked)...:)
Here's a nice strategy that worked for me alot of times: When you enter the stage area,go to your left,up the stairs,and get into the corner,gather as many gas cans / fireworks boxes as you can and sit it out,for some reason it doesn't spawn as many special infected and it makes your life a lot easier.

The platforms with a grenade launcher or sniper rifle are the safest places to be on this. Every now and then a spitter will tag the platform and you have to jump down, but that's about it. If you're a good shot, you can take out smokers easily.
I've done this several times where the other people stay on stage and I invariably have to snipe hunters and chargers off them. The stage is NOT the smartest place to go, despite the fireworks and access to ammo.
Dude, Aparently u never played this on Expert/Advanced. If you wanna live heres 1 tip. PAY ATTENTION TO THE DAMN TANK! Im serious, Me and my friend and 2 bots were fighting 1 tank by its self. IT KILLED 2 OF US BEFOR WE KILLED IT. I dont like it because we got one in the very beginning of that level and on the concert part. The first aid kits and weapons are not always in the same place.The medkits are either on the stage or on the wall near the thing that turns on the lights.Same for weapons and ammo.
ammo/health packs/grenades(ish) are actually randomly spawned each time you play the level. Though regardless I've found that the best tactical situation is actually in the middle of the bleachers since it both gives you a good lead on when the helicopter appears and also prevents jockeys and smokers from easily carrying someone out of view. Heck even when the tank appears, it's always best in the bleachers.
l4d2 non stop horde respawn--> find a freaking place that zombies and most infect have onli one or little ways to reach you leaving some space to play merry-go-round with tank.

Ok no, the BEST place to hold out in the finale is on the rafters above where you come from and stay in that corner. All the infected will run up from the other side of the map. Special Infected will always spawn extremely far away and can easily be picked off by the time they reach you, that includes the tank. The best part is taht when the chopper arives it is a 100% that it lands right in front of you, just as long as everyone is in that spot.
Just to explain, this video was released a few days after the game was released not to mention they probably don't play L4D religiously so don't hate so much. tell them they're stupid if you must and be on your merry way. It's not like they'll care anyways, they get paid to play videogames and make too many videos to count, they probably won't see your message.

Anyone knows you want to put a big distance between you and the zombies, which is why everyone who actually plays this game turns back on themselves after entering into the concert and goes up the seating to the back where you can see all the special zombies coming at you from a distance.
Stage is probably the worst, because any decent boomer can spawn behind any of those boxes and cover the team, or be charged or smoked off. Then you are trapped just below the stage where your team cant help.
This is an awful strategy, the cheese spot is up in the corner of the bleachers over where you come in, can see everything coming. Stay on stage just gets you killed in Vs.
Everyone pretty much knows the best defense spot on this end sequence is in the far upper corner (left side if you are looking at the stage), the special infected can't spawn in there if you are playing VS because you are too close to them so they are required to expose themselves out in the open to get you. It's kinda annoying if you are playing as infected which is why I personally don't run vs on this campaign anymore :/

The best thing to do is to camp on the far left of the stairs or the far right, making rushs for medkits, ammo ect during the tanks.
It's so open, it's like dead air all over again, you can even do it on expert realism i expect if you're careful (although doing the entire campaign would be alot harder to do due to the contant horde on the end of the level before)
Dont stay on the stage...youll get murdered when the tank comes..Stay on the right side of the stands..its the most open place and you can watch the spawn points better..plus in versus you can see the top of the stage for spitters and smokers for VS mode...pro tip brought to u by Moi ;)
stage is OK, the tower is bad. the best strat is to pick a corner in the stands and stick together. you can run and grab ammo and health when the tank attacks.

This is more of a gameplay tutorial, you told us to use explosive traps, Melee weapons in a close quarters fight / low on ammo and that you love this crescendo event

The platforms with a grenade launcher or sniper rifle are the safest places to be on this. Every now and then a spitter will tag the platform and you have to jump down, but that's about it. If you're a good shot, you can take out smokers easily.
I've done this several times where the other people stay on stage and I invariably have to snipe hunters and chargers off them. The stage is NOT the smartest place to go, despite the fireworks and access to ammo.

Dude, Aparently u never played this on Expert/Advanced. If you wanna live heres 1 tip. PAY ATTENTION TO THE DAMN TANK! Im serious, Me and my friend and 2 bots were fighting 1 tank by its self. IT KILLED 2 OF US BEFOR WE KILLED IT. I dont like it because we got one in the very beginning of that level and on the concert part. And aparently when i was sniping after the tank i accidently shot the witch ( poor me )

These aren't very helpful tips.
The first aid kits and weapons are not always in the same place.The medkits are either on the stage or on the wall near the thing that turns on the lights.Same for weapons and ammo.

ammo/health packs/grenades(ish) are actually randomly spawned each time you play the level. Though regardless I've found that the best tactical situation is actually in the middle of the bleachers since it both gives you a good lead on when the helicopter appears and also prevents jockeys and smokers from easily carrying someone out of view. Heck even when the tank appears, it's always best in the bleachers.

l4d2 non stop horde respawn--> find a freaking place that zombies and most infect have onli one or little ways to reach you leaving some space to play merry-go-round with tank.
at least tts how i play....

a better strategy is to go up into the stand near were you turn on the lights and corner your self so the infected are coming from one way and you cant get charged the only disadvantage is if theres a spitter ... ur boned

Ok no, the BEST place to hold out in the finale is on the rafters above where you come from and stay in that corner. All the infected will run up from the other side of the map. Special Infected will always spawn extremely far away and can easily be picked off by the time they reach you, that includes the tank. The best part is taht when the chopper arives it is a 100% that it lands right in front of you, just as long as everyone is in that spot.

Just to explain, this video was released a few days after the game was released not to mention they probably don't play L4D religiously so don't hate so much. tell them they're stupid if you must and be on your merry way. It's not like they'll care anyways, they get paid to play videogames and make too many videos to count, they probably won't see your message.

WRONG. The medkits have a possibility of spawning in the upper bleacher zone. But yes, you camp the corner because if you camp the stage you can get hit from all places from hordes, whereas the corners is only 2 ways for zombies to get in.

WTF is this? Are the machinama people who play L4D2 noobs or retards? Every good person knows you hold out on the bleachers(stairs) to the right of the stage in the corner. You can see all infected come towards you and you can put firework crates around you. 1 person with autoshotgun, 2 people with AK-47/ARs, and 1 person with grenade launcher. Common sense! People who just got the game yesterday defends on the stage -_-

Anyone knows you want to put a big distance between you and the zombies, which is why everyone who actually plays this game turns back on themselves after entering into the concert and goes up the seating to the back where you can see all the special zombies coming at you from a distance.
Stage is probably the worst, because any decent boomer can spawn behind any of those boxes and cover the team, or be charged or smoked off. Then you are trapped just below the stage where your team cant help.

Everyone pretty much knows the best defense spot on this end sequence is in the far upper corner (left side if you are looking at the stage), the special infected can't spawn in there if you are playing VS because you are too close to them so they are required to expose themselves out in the open to get you. It's kinda annoying if you are playing as infected which is why I personally don't run vs on this campaign anymore :/

The best thing to do is to camp on the far left of the stairs or the far right, making rushs for medkits, ammo ect during the tanks.
It's so open, it's like dead air all over again, you can even do it on expert realism i expect if you're careful (although doing the entire campaign would be alot harder to do due to the contant horde on the end of the level before)

Dont stay on the stage...youll get murdered when the tank comes..Stay on the right side of the stands..its the most open place and you can watch the spawn points better..plus in versus you can see the top of the stage for spitters and smokers for VS mode...pro tip brought to u by Moi ;)

stage is OK, the tower is bad. the best strat is to pick a corner in the stands and stick together. you can run and grab ammo and health when the tank attacks.
