Luke wore his mother's wedding ring (I think she bought it for his father??) - and he wore it right up to before the wedding. But now that he is posing as a marrried man he isn't wearing it. Hm.
@karenone2 Luke wore his grandfather's ring.... his mother's wedding ring was in Bobbi's jewlery box or something but he said it belonged to him...as far as I remember it.
They are really fighting to get through the scene. Gloria Monty probably thought it was funny too or it would have ended up on the cutting room floor. Genie is starting to smile when she is asking if he thinks the hitman followed them, and they she falls backwards laughing when Tony shoos the chicken. Glad they left it it there!

In 83 when Laura returned from Cassadine Island...there were scenes where there were signs of her being around...when "Think of Laura" the song was first aired...for example, just after Luke became Mayor, Laura dropped her blue scarf upon returning to Port Charles and Luke found it in the parking lot b4 he realized Laura wasn't dead...got that one?
Remember what I was saying about sound effects, and how GH always had great audio. The background sounds of the chickens.....Gloria Monty always made sure each scene had interesting stuff going on in the background, either the sounds of cars (the park), the tapping feet of the Disco, the Hospital bustle etc.. I think that's what I remember most, --the sound effects and audio of that time---it just makes a scene far more interesting.

This is why the ratings for todays GH are bad , the sets are too dark & gloomy and the storylines are taking forever to end.(Example: Claudia and Sonny finding out she's responsible for what happened to Michael & ending that story) The whole Luke & Laura on the run storyline took less than that one is taking. All it is today on GH is blackmail, cons & fighting.

Because I do know that when Hutch introduces himself with his "full name" Jefferson Smith Hutchins to Luke & Laura and Luke replies with the line "I know a few people named Smith though" but I do know that the airdate for that episode was
The improvising with the chicken was too funny! And, you know, I'm guessing that it wasn't just Luke protecting Laura and her feeling safe. Genie and Tony seem to feel 'safe' with each other as well. All a part of the magic. :)

It was June (Luke and Jen's wedding) and now it's august.. so it was a couple months... besides she was really upset about how he treated her so she is angry too (not that we blame him)
