  • Great work is it a .05 Hb Briggs?

  • @chuckbear1961 don't know what the Hp actually is. it was scaled down .by 3/8 from a full sized 5hp

  • @chuckbear1961 also if you like that video check out the other one on my page it is the model after it was finished.

  • how dont you know hes a giant

  • no i didn't. i think i may have either some autocad files or mastercam files. I'd have to check, but it would only be of the block and head.

  • Very nice build. Did you make any drawings?

  • @gwheyduke i'm working on reproducing the drawings now. i'm also thinking of making a casting kit. do you think there would be any interest?

  • @janandscott yes!

  • @outdoorsman310 when i get something done i'll post it on here to see if anyone is interested.

  • deficiently not 5hp

  • You can buy a perfect recoil starter from a Hobby Shop. Look for one for a "Traxxas T Max Radio Control truck or an HPI "Savage X" would work nicely for this size engine.

  • Sounds good. Nice Job!

  • that would be a SWEET r/c motor

  • put that on a remote controlled car that would be sick! btw whats the horsepower output?

  • @pivotboy63 3/8 of 5hp? lol

  • @borderlineartistic 1.8hp, apparently

  • this is kick ass i would buy one lol

  • that cool

  • now that is awesome, now all you need is a minature generator to power up a small 15 watts fluorescent light fixture

  • That thing is cute :D

  • let me guess your a machinist? lol cool motor man

  • You;re missing the shourd and pull start!

    That thing is honestly amazing!

  • @CSAKvids that video was several years ago. i have finished it and mounted it to a board. it has a brass shroud and i kept the old style rope pull starter. i tried to make a recoil starter but being that small i couldn't get it to work right.

i'll have to post a new video of the finished prooduct some time soon.

  • co2 powered or gas?

  • rtegular gas. it has electronic ignition and a regular miniature spark plug.

  • Now you must finish the task! Make a mini snowblower or mini gokart for it to mount to XD

    Awesome!

  • @Mccarronm04 Smart Alec! Good response LOL! There is this one guy who made a scale model Ferrari From scratch with a scaled down V12 that actually runs LOL. Took the guy over ten years to make it though.

  • even B&S couldn't do a better job! 500000000000000000000*

  • thats awesome

  • Sweet scaled down version! One of a kind for sure.

  • Does it have piston rings ?

  • hahah you need a minipullstart for it!

  • it turns between 3500 and 4000 rpm.

  • How many rpm:s ?

  • WOW thats so cool with you be making a cover for it and pull start?

  • that looks like a miniature snowmobile motor

  • is that useing a glow plug?

  • nope that ia a real sparkplug. just in miniature

  • is that really a Briggs&stratton engine??? and is it really 5 HP???

  • it's a scaled down version. 3/8 scale. modeled after a 5 hp. engine

  • ok thanks and that thing runs damn good oh and is it a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke engine????

  • 4 stroke like the real version

  • to awsome! now you need a mini go kart or tractor!

  • crankcase was machined on a cnc machine. head was also machined on cnc mill also the rest was built on regular machine shop equipment.

  • so basically its a billet mini engine?

  • yes. all from billet aluminum

  • sweet its like a bad ass blockzilla motor for an R/C car

  • @janandscott what is the hp is it all 5 or 3/8 of 5 hp

  • Probably 3/8 of 5hp. but i haven't figured it for sure. there is an actual formula how to figure it.

  • Way Cool Dude !!!!

    How was it made?
