@kusssucht get this one, storyline speaking, this one comes first. graphics may not be all that great but it was when ds was just getting started most games i see now are better but i would still reccommend this one because of the fact it's very fun, and provides a great introduction into the series

lolz i finally beat the part where i had to get the diamond mineral now i gotta kill the krawl at the spaceship which keeps on helaing -_- pisses meh off i almsot killed him but those sons of a bishes healed him is hould concentrate on them first use meh combo attacks to kill em and finish em off wit meh spectrobes oh i got a lvl like 50+ inkaflare and a danapsoemthing lvl 50 i think

I swear that it has been years since i saw the beginning of this game. I've wanted to go back and relive the thrills, but the game threatens to delete my progress every time i try... I have some ownage spectrobes that i won't stand to lose.

You're both kind of right. Spectrobes is an action-rpg, and Pokemon is turn-based. The only thing they have in common is the idea of "recruiting" monsters to fight for you, but it's definately easy to see the similarities.
