I have a romantic guitar too, wish I had this kind of talent. To the guy who asks why everybody plays this (expletive deleted) etude, well, how about because it's so sublimely beautiful?
beautifully played, although my guess is that your '19th century Panormo' is a replica? aside from the finish being so clean, the bridge isn't in the Panormo style with the bridge pegs, but rather tied with a knot.
but still it is a beautiful piece and a beautiful instrument
Thank you for your comments and video response. I did not recognise that you also tried to play this piece with Sor's original tempo. The one played in Allegretto sounds to me dreaming in afternoon nap under the sunlight, whereas the one in Moderato as Segivia changed is like dreaming under the moonlight. I used to play in the latter speed. This is my first trail to play it Allegretto. With very best regards.
Muy lindo sonido. Bien aplicada la técnica de Sor.
Felicitaciones.

Good work Don. It's neat to hear these pieces played on a different guitar. Thanks so much for posting. I really enjoy your playing.

Hi Lou, Thanks for your nice words. This is how it would have sounded back in Sor's time. It's a cool little guitar.
My best, Don
