The church only chose the gospels that portrayed Jesus as the son of God, only human in appearance. Any gospel that stated otherwise was destroyed or hidden, like the newly found and authenticated gospel of Judas.

Otherwise we would be simply intelligent machines carring out some embeded predefined algorithm. So you have the free will to choose either way. At the same time you will have no right to complain once you cross the line of death (suerly everyone will some day) and will be separeted from God. This separation is called hell.

By the way, Jesus Christ was a real person history supports it, did he res erect and is he the son of God? Christians believe he is, people like me and you believe he was not. That is just believing in religion dude, it means no harm.

I really don't know who Jesus was, but I find the historical Jesus much more fascinated then the religious one, just knowing this man existed. But do I believe he was the son of God? well no.
There are cons about religion, so I can see why your atheist, and I don't get why atheist get hated. But cursing religion is the same as declaring a holy war, in my opinion.

I got a serious question. Why is the cross considered such a holy symbol just because Jesus died on it, when the long history of the cross repesented a old traditional method of execution for hundreds of thounsands of criminals? Remember, according to the scripture, two criminals were hung on the cross next to jesus. Is the cross a dark holy symbol or totally misleading? Also, why did the ku klux klan burn the cross. But the doctrine follows scripture completely. His Church also is very big on missionary work in the world. His Church is the 'Seventh Day Adventists'. Look em up.
