@muga9999 Most mods are installed differently, but on the pages where you get the mods there should be tutorials. You'll need WinRar so you can access the minecraft.jar file. Its quite simple once you know how to do it.

I don't know if you've implemented this yet, but I couldn't tell how many times you've leveled Dude when you were using Rare Candies on him. Perhaps you could make a Pokemon sparkle a bit when it levels up? Maybe play the level up sound effect from the RBY games? Something to give a little notification about that would just be nice.
