I like this idea.

Would love to use this and read a poem and then capture the midi/notes into say Sibelius software and use it to generate a composition for a pianist to actually play or to reorchestrate for musicians of other instruments to actually play.

Wonder where how you would get yhis? I guess the captured midi file would work as Sibelus imports Midi..

Hmm I don't have MAX/MSP on my MAC so I guess running it would be an issue..

Seems like a pretty close transcriber, too bad it can't separate sounds into different tracks but still kinda awesome.
