I always find it amazing how you see kids taken away from mothers because "Oh she works too often, the kid is... uh... in a bad environment!" when meanwhile, a little boy I knew of growing up, was horribly abused, and everyone kept calling the cops, and CPS and the only time anyone did anything was when he was thrown out of a second story window and onto the pavement.

Why would you take a kid from a good home, and leave a kid in a bad home?!?! What the hell is the point of that?!?!

We are not having a dig at adopters, but the process of forced adoption where the parent has no choice and sent to prison if they dare try to stop it. Adopters are having thier own set of problems as we are finding out.

I disagree.

There are many mums who are devastated by the Adoption, they never wanted it, and have grieved everyday since.

the most important voice is not the adoptive parents.

But that of adoptee's. Adoptees have rights too.

They will tell you that they feel incomplete, they need to know who they are, their genetic history. This the only voice that counts, that of the children being adopted. Adoption is an ugly solution, and there should be no unnecessary adoptions.

Did you see the "Tonight" programme Mon 8pm "Don't take my baby" This is what women are being forced to do and have been doing for some time. I hope we can start to change the system some how.
