Pee Wee's Playhouse was never exclusively a "kid's show"; I watched it faithfully from Day One and I was 27! It appealed to all ages; you just had to be smart and a bit of a smart-ass to enjoy it. The whole porn theatre thing was ridiculous; what the heck else does one do in a porn theatre? At least it was safe sex.
