My vote is for Bettencourt for best guitarist... He seems to have some chops even Hendrix didn't... Which is saying one whole hell of a lot since Hendrix was THE MAN on guitar. Hendrix, VH, Clapton are all semi straight blues players, Bettencourt seems to have Flamingo and Classic licks on top of the R&B

@Doika86: The fact that this is YOUR opinion does not make it fact. And to say Gary is going to be spot on every show is ridiculous. Ever had a tickle in your throat? Gotten a cold? Laryngitis? His instrument is his voice.  It's not like a guitar or a piano where you can tune it and make sure it's in perfect tune every time. I've seen him live plenty of times and he has a great, strong voice live. Have you watched the live DVD at all? Great vocal performance.

@crazy4nuno i didnt watch the dvd before now, and i must admit that particular vocal performance is way better than any other performance he's ever done. Still, other than the dvd, i've watched pretty much every single live they've put on youtube, and they all pretty much suck. But my point isnt this actually. I wasnt really arguing on Cherone's vocal talent. What i was arguing on is, all of those fanboys that think that their heroes are perfect in all they do and they cant make a mistake...
