they just dont make stuff as good as the 80s anymore.....but maybe it will come back cause all the kids wear madonna bracelets and those rubber band thingys...i hope it comes back, where a popular show is not icarly or shit like that

Hard to believe people could become addicted to simple old Pac-Man. Now days I don't understand the point of even playing Pac-Man except to eat a bunch of dots and ghosts. No offense.
Games were a bit different when you had to pay your own money to play one and for your quarter you got one shot...no resets, no cheats. Sitting on your couch playing a game your parents bought you while you use endless save games, resets and cheat codes to progress isn't the same thing at all.
I agree with Oddwun. Not to mention, back then, games were more about the thrill of gaining point cred. Knowing that you can score an amount of points were well worth the time and effort in playing old arcade games. Nowadays, point scores aren't as big. But yeah, especially with Pac-Man, the game gets faster and faster, you have to think on your toes and react with quick reflexes. It takes more skill than most modern games.
HEY!! That brunnette is on a show on TV now. I dont know the name of it, but she's the sister of some woman married to a fat guy. Also, she was on Seinfeld a couple of times. That's right, she was the "Not a square to spare" lady in the restroom when she wouldnt give Elaine any toilet paper.
OO wow doesn't that bring back memories. It's funny I can remember so distinctly sitting at the living room coffee table and watching while looking at how to draw books. Was it 1985? for some reason I thought it was earlier.
I love that show! It is the perfect 1980s nostalgia, although I didn't even know it existed back in the day. Now that it has been released on DVD, I've finally seen all the episodes.
I've been a fan of Square Pegs since they aired episodes on Disney Channel for their New Year's Eve celebration in 1996, hosted by the cast of Flash Forward!!
Square Pegs!Great choice! Add "Normal Life" with Dweezil & Moon unit Zappa, After school specials with EG Daily and Pamela segall & you'll have a complete set! :) I noticed that the time compression seems to make the people move more "jerky" & changes the acting performance a bit (which I think has had an effect on people who watch diff. shows that use it).
Ha! that's funny; and you're 19. I'm 46 and no one even my age remembers this show it seems but me. Yeah, Marshall got to me back in the day. Level-headed and frail.
Between Captain Kirk's son, Pac2theman, and Fr. Guido Sarducci (priest/comedian/reporter/rapper extraordinaire) this episode makes me want to climb into a DeLorean and travel to 1985.
I still think that this is Sarah Jessica Parker's best work.

Wasn't that blond guy Kirks son in one of the Star Trek Movies? I think the Klingons killed him.
