Why is this kind of music always related with being gay if u like it and listen to it ?, i really dont know whats the matter, i mean , a gay person may like all kind of music from opera and even hard metal rock. so whats the deal about it ? can anybody make it clear for me ? pls....
I think that if it wasnt for this type of music as i was growing up i would have become insane with boredom. The 90's is an era that should always be played at least once a month in some high end club. These guys were innovators with the synchs and all ..
so many came out in force liek a tidal wave and i think we supported them very well, .. too bad we couldnt keep it going ..
this is one of my top ten of euro dance .. thanks for posting
Well for one thing I love Eurodance 2nd Somebody did once call me gay cause I loved this music back in high School. 3rd Everytime I would see that guy in the hallways he'd imitate a hi-hat and a bass drum, 4 I imitated a Bruce Lee kick when I saw him during recess 5, I got expelled from school 3 days. 6. who's the tuff guy now bitch!
This song just brings back memories of being the carefree teenager! Not having a care in the world filled with no responsibilities & worries! Man I sure miss my teenage years! lol Now that I am older I still listen to these songs! Awesome!
I remember owning this album as a kid and both the guys in the band (dancers) thanked their wives in the liner notes. I don't think they are gay or anything. Europeans are just different.

One of my favorite Eurodance songs of all time! I remember being a senior in highshcool when I bought the complete DJ Company album. I was the only kid in my whole school that listened to this type of music. Hell, I don't think I have ever met a single person to this day that also was into this genre of music. I also remember being labeled as GAY when friends would hear me playing this music and no one wanted my mixed tapes from when I was spinning mainly Eurodance and what is now OS Trance :(
I completely agree. I was in Grade 8 when this song was released. Whenever this song comes on, it reminds me of a carefree fun summer. It brings a smile to my face when you hear this song cranked at a club and watching the atmosphere turn euphoric. There aren't too many tracks that can do that nowadays. This will always be a classic eurodance song for sure! What does OS stand for BTW?
@yeedle fuck them they're gay. I still listen to 80's music and it was from then until 1999 that electronic music died. I believe songs like Gary Numan Cars, Harold Faltermeyer-Axel F, Jan Hammer-Miami Vice Theme laid the groundwork for songs like these Eurodance and Italo Disco. They're not gay many chicks liked this music too back in the days. I believe it to be like this 80's it was synth pop, followed by mid 90's eurodance and late 90's trance and house. Your not alone in your music taste.
@sakusia Yep, A songs of Gary's are still alive . I mean mainly " Cars " though not only the one song has been pretended as remarkable, i do like the 90's despite I'm used thinking that the 80's were much much better at all . Now music has diametrically changed .
@yeedle Ha ha me too bro! !!! Like the only one in my high school who jammed to this music. And when I started driving of course I had this stuff blasting in the car!!!!! Keep spinning it and keep it alive!!!
@yeedle so right funny how people who called others gay for listening to this music now they listen to it themselves being that dance music is big in usa right now
@yeedle i grew up traveling back and forth from NY to Sicily where my family is and let me tell ya something.... Eurodance is all they played over there so i grew up listening to it. Back in the states my friends laughed at me to for listening to it. You just grew up in the wrong place man sorry to hear. Eurodance for lifeeee you know as well as i know lol
In Italy everyone liked this kind of music . Mediterranean-style ... in addition we have created a music-dance of our own like eiffel 65 - benny benassi and many others!
Dude, read my comment again, and try to understand it, then u can reply, and for your info I never judge people based on their sexual orientation, social class, color, age, country of origin, religion etc.
Not gay at all, Im a hardcore metalhead and even I have a soft spot for this music. Great memories from a time when people had a brain and didnt listen to monkey shit.
@DaNgEr88GiRL Obviously you've never been to Europe, LOL. I've heard they can't even make music over there without a synth + drum machine. I have heard that techno/house/dance is still big there. Actually, techno has just changed somewhat, but it's flavor still lingers. Listen to the "thump thump thump" beat in Rihanna's "Don't Stop the Music" & Lady GaGa's "Poker Face". I know what you mean though. It's no longer like it was & though similar, those songs aren't really quite "techno". ☺
God damn she's sexy as hell... great dancer and performer to the song. But caaammmaaaan... those male dancers behind her subscribe to queer power. Its calling the sky blue sorta thing.
@ lollertron why do you guys still want to perpetrate that dividing tradition between Europe and the US, yes they call it Eurodance, just like they call Rap as American but no one as far as I know is not upset for that
Man I remember playing this song on my aunt's CD Chris Sheppard: Pirate Sessions, Vol 4. Back then I was too young to understand what they were saying :P, still sounds cool to me now that i understand lol.
man o man i love this song, it brings back so much memories. it gives me a reason to live and just anjoy life and yes music and makesme want to dance.
This version was released in the U.S. in 1997 Two years after the original version was released in Canada. A Toronto radio station played both versions and still does--if you request it.

@kleinhurr Here in the states I see more gay people listening to hip hop and R&B as they like to call it. Seriously Straight clubs are all about the white trash and rap music, with trashy white whores "trying" to shake their asses, looking stupid. At the gay clubs they play the good stuff that you can actually "dance" too.
So do you go to those kind of clubs? It isn't only the gays that like eurodance or techno. Seriously this gay club thing is kind of on my nerves a lot...:/
Every all ages club back in the '90's played this song right at 12:00AM, just as the "Live to Air" started on the radio....Why don't they do this shit anymore?......Classic!
