ive watched this video many times and still dont understand whats happening between 1:33 - 3:19. Explain?

it's from a bible story found in 1 Kings 18:16-45. There was a drought upon Israel and they were serving false gods. Elijah the prophet challenged them to make their gods send fire on an altar. obviously it didn't work but then Elijah covered the altar with water and prayed for fire from God. God sent fire on the wet altar and the people turned from their gods and God sent rain on the land :)

at 1:33 it is Jezebel claiming her gods will work. at 1:47 it is Elijah who is confident God will prove himself. he builds the altar and challenges the false gods. at 2:18 it goes back to the false prophets who try everything to get their gods to send fire - dancing, worshipping, and finally cutting themselves (satan is controlling them) at 2:49 Elijah stops them, covers the altar with water, and prays. at 3:12 it goes to the false prophet who witnesses God's miracle of fire. hope that helps!

Thanks so much! I've heard the story, but it's not one of the "more popular" stories, meaning I've only heard it once or twice, so it didn't jump to my mind. I just thought "What the heck is she doing?" Haha. You are talented, my friend. Thanks for sharing your gifts. How many more years do you have left of Fine Arts?

Awe well congrats on being a senior. I graduated in 08, only did Fine Arts 2 years. Wish I had more time as well :( But I love going as a chaperone and watching all the drama stuff still :)
