I remember this when it came out. This was Duran's first new track since "Rio", and it entered the singles chart at No.1 in early 1983. They were absolutely massive at this point, in commercial terms. I think their actual musical talent didn't always get the respect it deserved back then, because they were seen as...y'know, "teen pop" or a "boy-band" or whatever. But their music really stands the test of time.

Those baggy trousers and narrow leg cuffs were a rejection of the tight fitting - bell bottom pants of the 70s.
