  • He Sings It Really Right In Our DREAM Machine!

  • Fantastic song and performance!

  • applaouse...

  • @drummerganteng87 rewrite it and re Post!

  • Heck with the "politics". Best Band ever created. I love the 3 Horn Players !

    Excellent showmen!

  • I'd like to hear Jimmy sing something, anything, just once!!

  • Kieth Howland is a talent. And...he pulls in the women.

  • keith howland i love you

  • Wow , sucks! Used to be tons of brass and bad ass. Now it's just...this. Blah!

  • @whatever4354What are you talkin' about? This is old Chicago. Jimmy wrote this in the 70's. I recently saw Chicago's Thunder And Lightning tour. They did not disappoint!! Lots of horns and percussion!!

  • Cetera had a great voice in the original... Shame he never stuck around. Chicago still going!! Quality vid, thanks for this :)

  • peter c. is still the vocal of chicago

  • i think keith sounnds great he shouls sing more of the songs

  • Some of us die-hard OLD Chicago fans thought Peter Cetera was the fag. You take the mic and do better!

  • i love him, i love him!!!

  • they both suck. Jason sounds like a fag when he tries to imitate Peter.

  • lets hear you try and sing anywhere near as good as any of them

  • I LOVE KEITH!

  • I really think Scheff should be lead vox on this one, although Keith does a good job... Jason's voice more closely resembles Peter's and can hit those higher notes more easily.

  • I have seen Jason sing lead on this song many times- with Keith just playing lead guitar.

  • Sorry, Peter Cetera is the voice of Chicago and this guys sucks! Not to mention the horns are blowing it big time!

  • Yeah Keith definitely shouldn't be singing much...but the horns are fine. dont know what ur talking about

  • Geraci89,

I know perfectly well what I am talking about, but perhaps you don't. I am a professional musician and I know bad horn playing when I hear it! Anyone who plays any kind of horn and listens to the original song, would know that the horns messed up!

  • Who's to say you know? Im a musician as well. Not as a profession, but that doesn't degrade my ear at all. It's not the greatest horn playing in the world, plus Im sure a lot of it is the way it was put together. oh ps. I play trumpet, and have listened to all their records, many times. Hop on stage for 40 years for 2 hours a night before you think you should give yourself the right to say any REAL professional blows.

  • In case you have forgotten, this is America and I have the right to say any damn thing I want! Just as you commented on how well you think they did, I commented on how well I felt they did. It's called freedom of speech. I play trumpet, french horn, trombone, and keyboards, write music, teach music. You don't know me or anything about me! I made a comment about how I felt and it stands! If you don't like it, that is too fucking bad!

  • The fact that you are only a little 21 year old kid explains why you can't handle the fact that someone has an opinion that is different from your own. You're trying to play guitar.... who's the clown for real!! Now I'm the one who's LMAO!

  • Comment removed

  • You really shouldn't talk about yourself that way! I'm not making sense to you because you are the freaking moron! ... and you know, maybe I am a clown, but I clown all the way to the damn bank!! Don't need to post videos on youtube to advertise my talent, asshole!

  • First of all little boy, I am not a dude! Second of all, once again you don't know me! I am from Chicago and my brothers are disciples! Before you can even wipe your little snotty ass nose with your breath still smelling like similac, junior, they would have your ass pushing up daisies! But if you think you are that tough, tell me where to find you and I guarantee this will be the last statement you ever make before you know who you're fucking with!

  • no sense carrying this on. have fun insulting others and threatening their lives in front of the public. good job on that one pal! smooooooooth!

  • Once again dummy, I am a female and I don't tumble with guys because I don't have to. Obviously you can't handle dealing with a real man because you are a litle dumn ass punk! I see you didn't say where you were! I rest my case and this is the last resppnse to your little temper tantrums because you aren't worth my time! Besides if someone cut you, you would bleed sugar! Wimp!

  • @kimberdan0416 The horns are not blowing the song are you kidding me???!!!! The horns are perfect because a, they are professional, b they wrote the damn song, and c your just a damn idiot

  • This is a very good live performance of Old Days, love the song, love the band.

  • Great! Brings back childhood memories.

How many of these guys are original members?

  • Four of the original seven are left: Robert Lamm (keyboards/vocals), Lee Loughnane (trumpet), Walt Parazaider (woodwinds), and Jimmy Pankow (trombone). Bill Champlin has been with them since 81 I believe; Jason Scheff since 85, Tris Imboden since 90 or so, and the "new kid" Howland since around 96. (Give or take a year or two on each - memory is fuzzy.)

  • Thanks.

The kid seems to fit in pretty well.

  • I've heard the bass player guy sing this song before and didn't like it...I think Kieth does a better job.

  • Cetera snag this much better than Howland

  • are you kidding, Keith is the best of all Old days singers...He rocks!

  • Peter Cetera ditched this band.....I have seen them 20 times....once with him and 19 times without......he is where he wants and desreves to be....on the sidelines....they get better each time I see them....they never announced they would replecate Peter.....they just did it better.....If cetera was truely for Chicago....he would have stuck around.

  • @Poolboy150 I've seen them without and Jason really did a great job along with the rest of the guys. I get tired of hearing people complain that Cetera isn't there. They're awesome with or without him.

  • @Poolboy150 He wanted a "solo career",so where the hell is he?Not on the charts, that's for sure.

  • Please bring back Peter Cetera...the best of the best

  • He left ther band for 2 reasons,:1. He got tired of the band's constant traveling schedule . For awhile They were the most traveled band around only second to Chuck Berry I don't know if that is still true or not

2, He wanted to go solo any way. But it is funny he does include a lot of Chicago songs in his concerts. I geuss he can not forget ( or his fans) where he came from

  • it is a reach for him. but less than for scheff, and he does a better job. better yet they should take it down an octave and have bill sing it.

  • It would be very interesting to hear Bill sing this! I'd like to hear a version of him doing Saturday in the Park. I also love to hear Keith and Robert sing Dialogue, but I'm sure that it never has been or will ever be done.

  • @bellwaboy62

Scheff should sing it plain and simple. I don't get it! Why do they spread these songs around when Scheff is the obvious choice because of his voice. They sure used him on all the Cetera sung tracks on the 2009 rerecords.

  • Keith Howland is one of the best guitarplayer worldwide, he´s so amzing and he has a great voice!

  • Agreed ! Plus he's so damn cute!

  • And he's CUTE, too !

  • It's a vocal reach for Keith Howland...
