I feel the exact same way! My brother also used to listen to a lot of rap, and I always hated it - it's not that I'm against that genre of music, but the songs he listened to were always inappropriate (either about sex, drugs, and gangs with excessive use of swear words)...

Personally, my favorite bands are Tokio Hotel and Billy Talent because every one of their songs has a wonderful meaning.
