  • Bill Whittle and his up-to-date knowledge of out greatest fighters.

A man after my own heart :)

  • But it's not true that China is coming from the stone age because they have neighbors on the planet that has long since passed the stone age to take pointers and technology from. It's not the same as really starting from scratch at all.

  • I had to look it up, but Potemkin is actually a very good comparison.

  • China is not a threat. They will collapse just as Japan did in the '90. No economic expansion can go on forever and China is no different. Still with 300-million Chinese making less then $2/day - they have a huge internal threat: poor people rising up!

  • China is only good at copying ideas of tech from other countries. They will buy one Boeing jet, then copy all the tech out of it and not buy another!! Creating jobs......yeah....

  • China's end isn't economic; economics is its means to its end: unipolar global empire.

  • Bend over "President" Obama,

here comes the People's Republic of China for a little dinner at the White House.

To make you feel at home, they will be preparing"dog", then after din-din, you can take Barack out behind the WH and mistreat him, as you do your own people. He's got to go along, as your Country owns the US, and, they want to borrow more.

    Imagine that.

  • Since 1917? Try 1847!

  • It seems Bill Whittle is a Bill O'Reilly Republican, in that he believes that since the USA is and has been the "biggest," then that automatically means no one can touch us.

If China was "starting from the Stone Age" since the 70s, then why do they have a prototype Stealth Air Supremacy Fighter flying today? Americans need to start looking at the next 20 years instead of the next 20 days.

  • @NoGuff he said that just because they look big doesn't mean their dangerous, he stated that the US has been developing our military strategy for 60 years now and that give us and experience advantage, he said very little about our size

  • @kubaniski

"he said very little about our size"

--Its in the subtext of his comments. Its the message I got when listening to this video.

Again, if China was nowhere near a threat to us, how do they suddenly have 1. a Stealth air superiority fighter, and 2. a space program? And did I also hear they have missiles similar to our exoset or tomahawk that can take out a ship?

Of course, they have all of this thanks to the Clinton Admin's CAPABLE people in our Defense, Intel, & Energy depts.

  • @NoGuff calling something a "stealth superiority fighter" doesn't necessarily make it so. A space program is expensive but nowhere near as intricate as a proper military force. And finally just because china is modernizing it's military doesn't make it a threat to the US. remember that their economy is dependent on ors and a cut off in trade would hurt them more then it would hurt us.

  • @kubaniski

    "doesn't necessarily make it so"

--Its a prototype, so of course it isn't one yet. But of course, I don't even think ours is deployed yet, either. But that is the aircraft's purpose, nonetheless. And to ignore its existence is folly.

    "nowhere near as intricate"

--Actually they're both equally as difficult to bring about, but for different reasons.

They are not dependent upon us, they are invested in us. But they are also our competitor for dominance, not to be underestimated.

  • @NoGuff Yes your right we cannot underestimate them. However it is highly unlikely that China will ever pose a military threat to the US. But when it comes to economic power the Chinese are now living in an increasing economic inequality. You have 200 million Chinese in the city's who benefited from industrialization while 800 million peasants in the countryside are still largely untouched by the changes and continue to live in the same squalor they have been in for thousands of years.

  • @NoGuff if the wealth gap continues to grow resentment will cause civil unrest in the nation. China itself (though we like to think of it as capitalist), is still largely run by a central government which (according to the law of government power) will grow and begin to hinder further growth and innovation and thus will lead to a plateau in its economic prestige.

  • @CommonRaven

Who are you? Besides a troll, I mean.

  • @qtutoringhelps

A troll trolling a troll is a troll, troll.

  • The chinese are the manufacturing slaves of the middle class.

  • barak Hussein is a socialist muslim scumbag

  • stupid american video.

  • This is one of the best channels on Youtube. Thanks!

  • Thanks for more informed opinion guys. Especially liked Bill Whittle's take on China.

  • lol

  • What have any of these imbeciles contributed to economic/technological development? They talk about "we" as if they are somehow responsible for the United States.

  • @qtutoringhelps They say "we" because they are citizens of the U.S. Even though our politicians and a large part of the population(obviously this includes you) have forgotten that "we the people" ARE the government it does not change the fact that the citizens are the ones that are constitutionally charged with defending and enforcing the U.S. Constitution. Anything that is developed in this country can and should be considered an accomplishment of ALL of us. Thus WE developed these technologies

  • @ClubALib1

1st. I'm not an American citizen, I'm Canadian (I wouldn't expect you to investigate). 2nd. The politicians are CHOSEN by the people, so there is no dichotomy between the crappy American government and the people. 3rd. Accomplishments or good works are not collective. If they were, then acts of evil should also be considered collective. Do you take, along with the rest of the American population, credit for acts of violence and evil? Or you just want undue credit for good things?

  • @qtutoringhelps1st, that explains alot. 2nd, yes, we are a Representative Republic and not a Democracy. We are not perfect and we do sometimes make bad choices in our representatives.(the last Pres. election is a perfect example)Crappy Government? At least we don't ban 30 yr old songs because they "offend" someone,(PUSSIES!!!) at least not yet and hopefully never. No individual accomplishments, inventions/developments are the property of the individual. Americans can and do take pride in this.

  • @ClubALib1

You're a complete idiot. Go die in a corner.

  • @ClubALib1

You didn't address my point. Do you Americans take collective responsibility for acts of evil or only acts of good?

  • @qtutoringhelps It's hard to completely reply to people who hate the U.S for no logical reason, given the restricted space afforded by You Tube. However, I've decided that with such an intelligent and succint statement like "Go die in a corner." That my only answer could possibly be...read a book and go fuck yourself.

  • America is no longer a super power. A super power isnt just a military force and USA is starting to lose its power in that regard and the Chinese Economy is growing crazy fast, unlike the USA economy which is declining and not rebounding the USA also has a huge debt problem, unlike China which has lots of money

  • Starting from the Stone Age maybe but USA has given every bit of its tech to china to manufacture. They are starting from Stone Age plus a huge leg up from the world with all their tech. being the manufacturer of the world has been a huge strategic move.

  • @Bassmarko It has, yes, but we're still talking a nation where the average man's income is pretty much below the minimum standard of living here, as well as a propensity for brain-drain.

The urban east of China might develop, but will it carry to places like Xinjiang and Tibet? If not, how will that affect the national dynamic?

  • @jrsub3 Good questions but to ignore the obvious problems would not be a good idea. I hope we can work with the Chinese and be friends if we can get our house in order but if we continue to debase our currency this may really be a problem to our relationship. Also if USA continues to de-industrialize and regulate every aspect of growth into non-growth we are simply screwed. Trust me this has been a systematic de-evolution of America by evil in this country and abroad. 40 years of decline. shame.

  • let America be America, damn that sounds nice.

  • This was actually a great video up until about 8:30.

Why did they have to bring up the Obama is Socialist / maoist / communist / fascist thing.

This isn't the Mark Levin show.

  • @17R3W Because he is a socialist/maoist/communist/fascist. Never forget what he is.

  • @17R3W I think these are the facts. How we deal with this is up to you.

  • @17R3W Because they call 'em as they see 'em. What did you want them to do? Point fingers and go Duh Duh- Obama Stooooopid? This ain't CNN, ya know!

  • @RisenPhoenix68

But it just came out of no where. It's almost like Bill's head was going to explode if he didn't mention the current president at least once in 10 minutes.

  • AMERICA!

  • FUCK YEAH!

  • Hu's on first ? ;)
