  • That is exactly what the bilingual parents in my school say in August and then they regret in the middle of the year for not registering them in my class. I address all those academic/linguistic needs with other resources such as listening centers, resource teachers, small group activities, and interactive video games. If the native teachers were better prepared there were no need to bring us up to this country, but apparently they need me here and that's why they brought me. Like it or not! ;)

  • @myrna228 i need you as a teacher

  • i'd hate to have a nonnative elementary school teacher teaching my kids... How are they gonna expand their vocabulary... the sentence structure, their language skills, their pronunciation?

  • @beenn15 Well, they are certainly not going to learn those skills from you, since you apparently lack the ability to write at even the most basic level.

  • @queridasoto Thank you for your post. Apparently "been15" thinks that teachers are perfect. We all have limitations and I 'm aware of mine, but I try to do my best for my students to give them the opportunity to acquire the skills they need to succeed in the 21st century schools.

  • This video is relevant o education in the classroom. it has clearly organized groups and varied activity that appeal to students of various learning models. this surely takes advantage of technology to advance education in the 21st century. I like it.
