The original songs only amazing because of the speed that it's played at. If you think the songs boring you guys shouldn't have played it. Instead you guys should've just found a fast song that's fast originally.
So by your logic, any cover of a song that is not JUST LIKE the original, should never be done in the first place? Well, there goes about a good 1/3 of the songs in existence.

How would our version be original if we played it EXACTLY LIKE THE RECORDING? That takes the whole spirit out of rock and roll. That's why i sang that way at the solo part (and of COURSE i know what the "shaky voice thing" is, DUMBASS), thats why we used no distortion, and that's why we did it fast. Now go worry about yourself, not us.

Thats not Harmony. That is called crap. And its NOT boring to play, if you actually play it right. And ok whats with the high voice thing at the bass solo and the random vibrato (thats the shaky voice thing if you didnt know) You sang it backwards dude. He starts low and THEN goes high. You dropped down cuz you couldn't sing any higher (don't lie i know its true cuz that was choir-boyishly high) so why not start low... then go higher... Like i dunno maybe the way its supposed to sound.
Oh and your guitar intro was not distorted, try that next time its SOOOO much better dudes. If you wanna have the whole louder part after the intro get another player. And once again, PLEASE slow down. And what kinda pedal you using Mr Guitar Player?
nothing can compare to ok go. but this is by far the best (and the only acceptable) cover of this song ive seen on youtube.
