Here's a tip - Use your china's upside down like most other famous drummers, e.g. Joey Jordison of Slipknot, having them that way up means hitting the edge will eventually cause a sudden large crack, or even break the cymbal. Using it upside down helps to hit the flat side, not the edge, therefore preventing cracking. Hope this helps. :)
