uthor's apparent detailed geographic knowledge was blown by his belief that the Haida were in Alaska. Nationalism strikes again. Haida were only on the Queen Charlotte Islands and briefly, an adjacent island -- all in Canada.

From an environmental catastrophe comes the American conservation movement...can one hope for the same from this BP oil spill catastrophe? Great book, great idea...greater possibilities for changes in thinking about our stewardship of the earth!
