  • If they made a real life Simpsons movie, Rich Hall would be Moe. Thumbs up if u agree lol

  • Respond to this video... Moe is based on Rich Hall hes a friend of the Simpsons creator

  • @Aulonn Matt Groening has admitted Rich Hall was indeed the template for Moe Syzlak.

  • this dude is funny

  • Don't you find it annoying on videos when you see a comment that's just a joke repeated, yet it gets like 40+ thumbs up? It annoys me.

  • @MrOmgwtfWaffles it's not like these people are making money off of the thumbs up..who gives a shit, if it makes them happy getting highest rated comment off of a quote then so be it

  • @aghiarasberry I made that comment 5months ago. If you're going to comment on a comment someone made, at least make sure the comment was made within the last month at least.

  • after 7:36 minutes I've realized he had a microfone in his hand

  • 58% of American's think Bush is a fantastic President.

All I know is most of these poll's are conducted in shopping malls. There we go, 58% of people who aren't even savy enough to cut a wide birth when they see someone coming at them with a clip board, think's he's fantastic...They also think donuts the size of truck tires are a good idea...

  • LEGEND

  • " manhole cover, you fall in, end up in fiber optics and your soul ends up in porn"

  • @bullysgod Russell Howard's alright but I agree with you on everything else. :)

  • He looks like Lou Reed with Down's syndrome.

  • Why is it that people always look nervous when someone gets asked a question down front of the audience lol. I don't mean the people being asked the question, i just mean the people around the person being asked.

  • fukin creasine !!!!

  • @DopeMcDoperson Maybe you're thinking of Motown?

  • @DopeMcDoperson That was a good reply to that.

British and Americans have very different humour senses. So ignore the comments. British love this style of comedy, Americans hate it. British hate American comedy, and Americans love it.

    Nothing you can do.

  • @DopeMcDoperson Your a knob

  • @DopeMcDoperson The Apollo in New York isn't a 'black' comedy theatre anyway, it's just that it's in a black area, Harlem.

  • @DopeMcDoperson You're thinking of the American Apollo.

  • America is always the birth of cool. And the dead last to recognize it. How the fuck the american public could prefer some of the brain dead "comedians" we have over here to someone like rich who actually is genius completely escapes me.

  • 31 people think tyre-sized donuts are a good idea.

  • Great humour!

  • @jeanettRiddlequpi I think i'm with everyone here when i say............FUCK OFF.

  • @MattRhys20 That, and '4:30, conduct pigeon orchestra'

  • greatest America ever.

  • moe syslak!!11!!

  • Lick her in the front; Poke her in the Rear! ... ROFL

  • @MsVeganzombie he means, outside a bar where he lives, it says, licker in the front, poker in the rear, idiot

  • @ticcer01 If you don't get the joke just STFU, don't waste my time stating the literal lines. And I think you mean liquor when you ignorantly typed licker.

  • Richer than gravity, thats genius.

  • Rich Hall, nuts or a genius?

  • @MarcellusGrey a bit of both

  • "...fall into an open manhole, get stuck in some fiber-optic cable, and your soul winds up in porn. It could happen!"

  • You gotta love the way he says "Sandwich"

  • I have a new favourite comedian!!!!

  • richer than griavity,oh ma gosh.....

  • Oh my god this guy is too funny!

"i believe that london is currently living under a incredible climat of fear, that its never experienced before, i went into a sandwich shop other the day and asked for a crab salad sandwhich, the women says 'We're all out of crab salad...im afraid' its just a crab salad lady, it didnt escape did it?" Hahahahahaha!

  • i don't usually find american comedians funny, but this guy is amazing!

  • That image if Bill Gates landing face first on his bedroom floor made me snort Irn-Bru. Ouch.

  • Richer than Gravity, Haha xD

  • @Jonsk12394 Yeah, brilliant line! Hahaha

  • liquor in the front, poker in the rear.

  • Then why don't you go and watch a video you DO like?

  • @SuperBobster10 Wow that is deep. So these comments are intended just for the fawning masses, no dissent allowed?

  • @zombiekicker

    cause ppl are morons!!!

    Hicks eats robin williams!

  • Sniglets rule.

  • "Bush. My president. Fuckwit." haha

  • saw him live :) haha, i love how hes able to make fun of himself! :]

  • It's just crab salad, lady.

  • Pigeon Orchestra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is NO DISRESPECT to yank comedians! My top 2 are Richard Pryor and Robin Williams! No1 can touch them! But, Rich Hall fits in here as well as ANY brit comedian! He is dry, funny, & can take the piss out of himself as well as any1.. that's a gift! It also makes the US stand apart from most! The self-belief that their shit smells sweeter than the rest of the world! It isn't a bad thing, but grates on the nerves when you hear it so often!

He is humble, while taking the piss out of the ignoble!

  • That's probably why he's so successful here, like Reginald D Hunter.

  • If you like a comedian, laugh or repeat the jokes... No need to justify your choice. Please leave out the critical analysis and boderline xenophobia.

  • ok, well as bill hicks would probably say...fuck you, get off your high horse, jump or climb down either way, and let people say what they want. the internets not run by china yet fuckface....

  • @CuntsFuck Robin Williams? haha, u must be one of those 58% people

  • @CuntsFuck I see that you haven't considered Bill Hicks, who pisses on them both!! I do agree that Pryor was excellent but Williams?????

  • Nope, no applause!

Unless you want red dots to form on your head

  • I saw Rich live last year and it was amazing show. He had a really funny guy on as an opening act too, a canadian guy i forget his name.

I found out he was also the inspiration for the Moe Szyslak character on the Simpsons, if that's not a bit of cred, i don't know what is!

  • Was the Canadian Stewart Francis?

  • @djkells3 yeah he is

  • lolz, i dnt even remember watching this =P

  • Genius

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah, I've noticed this and I think it's because Stephen Fry and Alan Davies are absolute whirlwinds (Sean Lock and Frankie Boyle, too). I think almost everyone else who comes on QI show (including Rich) simply can't keep up. It's the same with Paul Merton on HIGNFY...the guys seem to speak as they think. In the US the only ones I know who could toe-to-toe with them would be Johnathan Winters (in his prime) and Robin Williams.

  • i love American stand up about british people

  • Awesome

  • so funny, there is hope for yanks

  • @alxdnld i swear he is canadian

  • @alxdnld first yank with a real sense of tumour, not some stupid thing were people laugh in the middle, for no apparent reason.

  • @alxdnld hey! 'yanks' had it all along. there seems to be hope for you, noticing it ;D

  • @maaymun I'm familiar with the work of Richard Pryor, Bill Hicks, Eddie Murphy etc. Yanks HAD it. Then came 'the dub' and washed all that away like so much water boarding. This guy and Reg D Hunter are starting to claw some of it back.

  • @alxdnld You should listen to some of Steven Wright. He's my current fav.

  • Love the way he's so dead-pan when he tells his jokes!

    Rich Hall for the win!!!

  • One of my favourite gags ever;

"if you can play harmonica and guitar at the same time like Bob Dylan and Neil Young, your a genius. Make an extra effort to strap some symbols to your knees......"

    haha just brilliant.

  • Rich Halls observation humour is second too none! (genius) Thanks for the upload

  • couldn't agree more! He's my fave comedian

  • thanks for posting, love this vid!

  • what song is playing at the start when he walks out

  • it's neil young...

  • Matt Groening based Moe SIzlack off of this guy. Hes actually an alumni from my university.

  • no he didn't, he based him off al pachino, and failed

  • i seen lee evans on 30th november last year, at the metro radio arena in newcastle.. he looked like a blimp, but my god was he funny!!

  • Any one who knows the name of the host in this 'episode'? (: I REALLY liked him, he was hilarious!

  • Jack Dee

  • I love both British AND American comedians as their humor is different but equally funny. I must admit I'd never heard of Rich until he was a regular on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, but I love his deadpan style of delivery.

  • liquor in the front, poker in the rear lol!

  • haha funny how that cut to money to see heather mills, money grabbing witch.

  • Believe he moved there. ^^

  • Best american Comedian since George Carlin. Not as good as Carlin, though. He was the best

  • bill hicks was better than carlin, but carlin was an amazing comedian and definately up there with hicks.

  • Hall is the funniest American in the world. :D

  • LOL....too funny...esp the part when he makes the joke about Bill Gates needing more money to turn his life around and then focuses on Heather Mills...

  • hes a comedian calm down ffs

  • Moe the bartender lmao!

  • Saw him at the Edinburgh Festival last nite.

    The man was on fire.

There were two flies flying around his head most of the nite and he incorporated them into his act!!

    I've never laughed so much!!!

  • "The man is richer than gravity"

    ...Priceless.

  • the bill gates theorem with interest negating gravity wouldnt work in this economy at the moment so im willing to give the experiment a try still you never know

  • rich hall was the inspiration for moe but hank azaria does the voice.

  • "It's like there eyes met and spoke a thousand unspeakable thoughts...."

    "No they fuking didn't"

    ROFL

  • he isnt the normal american comedian he actually has a brain and isnt afraid to say what he wants

  • Amen. I, as an American, have had enough of these brainless American comedians like Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Bill Hicks, Joe Rogan, Dave Chapelle, Norm MacDonald, Brian Posehn, Zach Galifianakis, Mitch Hedberg, Gerg Giraldo, Jeff Ross, and Greg Proops. JUST TO NAME A FEW. You retard. Go generalize somewhere else, please.

  • Calm down fella, its only a Joke that's why its called Comedy

  • i have only heard of richard pryor out of that lot he was shit so i think that tells me that they are rubbish as i actually have a collection of stand up dvd's, compare your lot to, dara o briain, frankie boyle, jason manford, Jack Dee, micheal mcintyre, omid djalilli, billy connoly sean locke, jo brand, Jimmy carr ,Alan carr,

  • You just admitted that you are ignorant in regard to American comics. Therefore, you have no basis for criticizing American comics. You think Richard Pryor is "rubbish", therefore your opinion means nothing to me. Anyone with such a poorly developed sense of humor that can't see the brilliance of Pryor's humor is either a racist or too stupid to live. Either way, I'm done with you. Best of luck, mate.

  • Agreed! I'm a brit but US comics are the greatest. Pryor and Carlin. They led the way.

  • I'm an American and I think British comics are great. Lenny Henry, Stephen K Amos, Jack Dee, Jo Brand, Tommy Cooper, the list goes on and on and on.

  • a dont like lenny henry but most people do. use do rule on comedians the pryor, rich, reginald brillant!

  • cool,do you like(if youve heard of him)

    Lee Evans?

  • Yes. I first heard of him when he co-starred with Nathan Lane in the movi Mouse Hunt.
