damn i remember i HATED this game so bad, shitty gameplay and even worse sound. The saving process was truly HORRIBLE, i remember i wanted to beat this game not because i liked it, but because i didn't want a BAD game to get the BEST of me. it hurt, but i overcame it :-) 1/10

@twentytears Yeah, and the cool part is, it varies from system to system, too, since I believe the soundtrack was just MIDI sequences, and the sounds that played were controlled by the Microsoft MIDI mapper I think...Maybe...But yeh! Wonder how it sounds on Windows 7 or Vista?

I played the demo or rented this way back when (can't remember). It was a good idea for a game but the framerate and controls were really bad. Someone should remake this for modern hardware.

Crusader, Terminal Velocity, Descent, Doom, Time Commando, Diablo, Quake, Magic Carpet. Those were jewels!! Legendary games!!! Love all!! Duke and don't forget Jazz JackRabbit!!! I had a floppy 3.5" version and the Jazz Jack Rabbit 2. Really great!!!

Still have it fortunately. This was my first CD-Rom game, the one thing that blew me away was the dynamic sound, changing from a peaceful theme to a fast-paced combat mix whenever you confront an enemy.

Back then I thought that this was the game that would spawn sequels and form the 3d action genre. not "Tomb Raider" which I bought around the same week with this, and despised after playin Time Commando..

wow, i played this game when i was 4 or 5 and i loved it. It literally took me weeks to beat the giant ape in the first level, because i didn't know you got a club. This is bringing back a lot of good memories. Too bad no new computers can play this game :(
