dude is there a way to make the icon desktop on top of the running xwinwrap even if it you will set the opacity to 1...is there a way,,id really love to see my xwinwrap video clearly while my icon is visible..thanks...

Unfortunatly not !! no solution for this trouble...just a craftiness.You must to put a perfect black desktop background before running xwinwrap in a descent transarency toshow your icons...thats all i can say...There is an other way...to patch nautilus...but it will be crminal to say how>>> big big trouble of system stability

Yes, on command line. But Now, there is a new easy way call Gwinwrap (Xwinwrap with Gtk). I put he link in the description of this video.

Ok, I find...
On command line on the terminal:
--> xwinwrap -ni -o 0.7 -fs -s -st -sp -b -nf -- mplayer -wid WID -quiet /home/way/to/your/video.avi -loop 0
IMPORTANT : -loop 0 at the end of this command line !

My PC is a older play !!
My configuration...Ubuntu, MP Sempron 2400+ (1,6Ghz), video card Nvidia GeForce 7600... That's all but Ubuntu is the best Os...

You can get Animated wallpaper for Windows Vista as well, plus there is now 3D cubes for Vista, and MAC docks. but I like UBUNTU better.

pretty sure you need a newish video card for that one... it won't work on older cards like mine an nvidia geforce2 might work on some geforce4 and higher also i don't think it will work on most intel graphics though the new x3000 and higher cards may beable to handle it

oh man, I just didn't put it right: I meant his desktop appearence and style configuration, not his hardware spec.
I would like to set mine similarly, specially the dock app.

yeah after locking at some videos of cairo dock im pretty sure... kiba dock is good for some laughs too xD
