The average man did more Parkour than the "expert". He has some good flips and tricks, but that's not Parkour. One of the two most important aspects of Parkour are: Efficiency & Speed.

The "expert" couldn't keep up with a real traceur.

Too much flips going on nowadays..

@ezkiller93 what happened is that efficiency and speed are accomplished with a car. When you start separating the two, you limit yourself. Who says a front flip can't be efficient? My friend does superman fronts further than any of us can jump. I've done several diving fronts over obstacles (with drops) that worked much better than any of my vaults would have. It kept my momentum going and got me much further much master than a kong would have.

If your friend can do front flips further than you can jump, then you best get working on those precisions.

A front flips CAN be efficient, but a kong vault (or any vault) is more reliable. And you don't get disoriented (and possibly break something if you don't have a clear landing).

Kongs can get you further than 5 meters (on ground, no elevation), with no momentum --

And still, this guy isn't a Parkour expert, he's a gymnast and/or a freerunner. I don't have anything against freerunning, it's quite fun, but nowadays = flips, flips, and more flips are "Parkour & FreeRunning".

My point is, this guy doesn't come near an ordinary traceur, not to mention an "expert".

He couldn't keep up with a real traceur.. sorry.
