A good demonstration Sir. Did you flip the collar for demonstration purposes? You could leave the newly laundered collar down and work the bow up and under from one side( see James Bond films) ties. ...but nonetheless excellent video

This video is very clear but I still cannot manage to do it myself. Could it be that my bowtie is too short?

The main things is to make sure that you have it set to your coorect neck size or you will always come up short.
