whats the warmest area in chubu that you can live and still get to the mountains for a days's skiing? i imagine somewhere in the south of gifu and nagano prefectures? And towns in the valleys rather than high altitudes? Thats my first guess though i know climate patterns are affected by other geographic features so any pointers would be appreciated. (I want to move to japan but problem is I want to go skiing but wife hates the cold- she'll accept -2 degrees C but not -10 in winter)
